Q:
The issue with some guilds these days is they either get too populated, leaving some members feeling left out, or they are small, with very few active members, leaving people unable to fully enjoy the game. Have you gotten tired of being just a number or have grown tired of not being able to do anything?
Mythdren is a community structured guild designed to accommodate the individual member’s play style. This type of structure has never been tried before, and an idea this bold takes time to build up, but with hard work, and dedicated leadership, Mythdren will grow to allow members the ability to do what they want to do, not just do what the guild dictates.
With the guild being a community structure, members are given the freedom to choose their own path, make strong, long lasting friendships, and be part of something greater then themselves. Nothing is as rewarding to a player then knowing that they helped to build something great, and the guild is dedicated to achieving just that, every player here is equal to each other, while there is a leadership structure, every member counts, and it is our mission to make sure that nobody is left out, nobody is made to feel as if they are just a number, and most importantly, the leadership works for the members, not the other way around.
What sets us apart from other guilds? Mythdren Kingdom/Community is designed to not only function as a high population guild, but still gives members a small tight knit family structure as well. Think about it, most high pop guilds are doomed to forget or ignore some members, leaving them to be just a nameless number in the crowd. Small tight knit guilds avoid this fate, but in turn don’t always have the active membership online to get things done. Mythdren solves that issue by not only having a main guild for all members to join, but also house guilds designed for each style of play PvP, RP, PvE, Wv3. For more information please check out the Mythdren Q&A
We’re looking for players who want to help make this idea a reality, it will take hard work, but all good things come with time, and as the membership builds, so does the possibilities. Are you up to the task? No matter if you’re new to the game or a veteran, Mythdren welcomes you with open arms, let’s work together to not just advance a guild, but build a community.

A:
Being both new to MMOs and GW series, but eager and ready to learn and fight, finding a guild like Mythdren, was immensely helpful to my enjoyment of the game.
Mythdren provided and continues to provide personal mentoring and a close knit team to work with side by side. Learning dungeons, events, PvE and WvW with a supportive group has made my personal progress jump. And the guild leader provides true leadership and guidance, and checks in with each of us on a daily basis. A huge plus to make GW2 the game it was meant to be!
WHAT WE OFFER:
•Community Website: designed to further strengthen community communication, events calendar, RP storylines, Wv3 tactics, House forums for each individual house to use privately, Ranking system and much more!
•A home to fit any type of play style (You don’t have to RP in order to be in this guild, it’s just an option.)
•Voice Chat server (Mumble)
•Controlled Drama environment: Drama is going to happen no matter what, here in Mythdren, we limit the amount of drama created within the guild, and turn what’s left into a positive, via RP events ex. We do this because we understand that you will never have “no drama” it is going to happen, its how you handle the drama when it does happen that matters.
•3 server structure: Main server will be Devona’s Rest, but will also have a presence on Tarnished Coast, and a third server to be determined at a later date. (This will not only increase the options for RP, and PvE, but will allow members from multiple servers to join in.)
•Great Leadership: Here in Mythdren we do not believe in “the members work for the leadership” We feel that it is the leadership that works for the members. Every member in a leadership position is 110% dedicated to this goal, and no member should ever feel left out.
•Diverse player base: No matter if you’re a veteran, or a novice in MMORPG’s, everyone is welcome here, we will strive to help those who need it, and make sure that those who are knowledgeable of game aspects, help those who do not have the experience just yet.
WHAT WE ASK OF OUR MEMBERS:
•Have FUN!
•Uphold the Mythdren Virtues
•Sign up to the Website
•Refrain from making racist or sexist remarks on Mumble, or in guild chat, and keep in mind that not everyone has the same sense of humor.
•Be active! Members ARE NOT forced to represent our guild at all times, but we do ask that members stay active in the guild, houses, or sub-guilds. (Note: One thing I hate about some guild setups is that they “require” you to rep their guild only, that IMO is total BS and really goes against the whole point of being able to join up to 5 guilds.
•Have at least 2 guild slots available, this way you can join the main guild and a house guild. (Note: Those who wish to be either a Regent or Magistrate must have at least 3 guild slots available)
If you have any other questions, please post, we will respond as soon as possible, and check this thread multiple times a day

Bump for a great guild!
Thanks Chef for the bump!
Regina, that is very kind to say! Here in Mythdren the members come first above all else. We may be small right now, but we will grow, and as we grow, the sky is the limit to the possibilities; I look forward to the days ahead, welcoming more and more members to Mythdren.
With an idea this big, we want to make sure that we’re finding the right type of members. Those who want to help build not just a guild, but a community. With this in mind, we just want to make it clear that we are not a large guild just yet, but even if we were, members will still feel important.
My husband has been leading Mythdren for 8 years now, in one form or another. Over the years, he has dedicated his time to making sure the members are getting what they need, not what the members and do for him. We look forward to meeting new people, and making this idea a reality, we already have some great members, but there is always room for more.

Well I have always believed that a true guild leader works for the members, not the other way around, what I don’t believe is the saying “can’t make everyone happy all the time” that is said by people not 100% dedicated to their members….
I am fairly new to GW2, and after getting to lvl 30 just solo, I decided to look for a guild. Came here to the forums, and after some perusal, came across this thread. Went to the website, filled out the app, and now part of the guild. Granted, I am brand spanking new to the guild, havent had a chance to run any dungeons or the like, but I am not disappoint. It seems like a very friendly bunch of people, dedicated to cultivating a high level of comfort and fun within the guild, which is all I can ask for in a guild. I’m to laid back to run around in one of those “hardcore” guilds where you have to follow strict standards, and a draconian gear code. So far, they have been patient with a newbling such as myself, and have answered several questions, and generally made me feel welcome. So, if your looking for a casual guild, that lets you play the way you want, join up.

It’s an honor to have you here man!!
Looking forward to seeing more new faces.
Updated! Right now we’re building up the guild on Devona’s Rest, though are welcoming members from TC as well.
So far recruiting has been going great, but still looking for more members, and some who wish to gain leadership spots.
