Guild Wars 2

Hey everyone! I have a newb question:

Do guild tags have to be unique? Could a couple different guilds have the same tag? I’ve seen a tag I really want to use but I don’t know if it is “taken”.

Also, I know I will have to disband & recreate the guild in order to change the tag, so if I disband the guild can I recreate a new guild with the same name?

Ok, after googling different ways I found I can indeed share a tag, but the question still remains: can I recreate a guild with the same name?

If no guild exists by the name you pick you should be alright, including deleting and reforming. Yes, as your google search told you guild tags are not unique.
