Guild Wars 2

Hi, we’re currently recruiting everyone who’s willing to do World vs Worlds (or ultimately end up doing it). Has to log on Mumble when we’re doing World vs World to maximize gameplay. Aeterna [Ae] resides in Ferguson’s Crossing atm which is a medium sized server. The leaders and co leaders are WvWvW hardcore but some of you guys will prolly ask, “why go to a no name server then?” My answer is, “why not?” Our end game is getting the best experience we can get out of this game. Who wants to join a hot server and roll over everyone? It’s fun at first but then you lose interest fast. Why is this so? Because you can predict the outcome before even entering, thus wasting your time to do what you bought this game for which is WvWvW.

We believe Honesty is the way to go, so no sugar coating to trick people into joining our guild. Give us a chance, help us make Ferguson’s Crossing into something great! We recognize loyalty and good players. We respect and are grateful for core players and we never forget, it’s the guildmates that’s what makes us who we are even today.

We will never deny a guildmate the chance or their ambitions to become someone more then just a guildmate or core. Prove yourself and invest in us for great rewards.

Wow, your guild is moving to Guild Wars 2? GL and HF. I hope you guys can keep up with us.

Probably worth mentioning, if you are playing EU, joining Grotesque and Extraordinary Gentlemen would be an effective first step in becoming the player god you wish to be. <3 ya bro.

Our numbers are rapidly growing but we are not yet content. Need more for our constant party.

OK Bladie… went to your site… it’s kinda skimpy. There really is no info about your guild, it’s policies, membership requirements, etc. I really liked your opening post… I like the fact you are willing to build from the ground up. However I’ve got some questions to boot…

• How many members do you currently have? Your website shows only a dozen or so.
• Are you selectively recruiting or just doing mass invites to get your numbers up?
• Are you requiring members to play full time WvW? Can they get breathing room to also do PvE?
• Do you have a minimum age requirement to join? Is this a mature crowd? Any vet gamers in your leadership?
• Talking of leaders, who are you? who are your leaders? who are your officers?
• What’s your guild history? are you new? just formed?
• Got any rules? Policies? Governing structure? Any organization other than to hit the WvW by the seat of our pants and let it fly?

It’s ok I suppose to basically spam your own thread… but give us some substance man so we can make choices!

Sorry Tajah, Just created the forums two days ago and i really didn’t want to post it yet but you asked for it!! XD No no seriously. Working on Cosmetic editing atm for our forums. I just gave admin powers to my co leaders hours ago so when i say it’s fresh, i really mean it.

1. We have 55 Members atm , with 12-18 dailies on (there is always over 10 people on all the time)

2. Yes and no, we’re trying to choose people who have the same interest as us but at the same time we do need numbers. When you apply supply and demand along with quality, we’re somewhat strict but not really as long as a player promises growth. And yes we are keen on keeping an eye out on our guildmates.

3. As of now we’re so addicted to WvWvW we do it everyday but we’re currently in the proccess with deciding to do scheduled WvWvW. As long as you attend majority of the WvWvW that’s all we ask for.

4. We really don’t have an age requirement tbh. We’re just trying to keep it real. If someone who’s age 14 really wants in and he has what we’re looking for, why not invite him? As long as he’s respectful and willing to grow with the guild. right now our ages are 18- late 20’s range, with some in 30’s and one in 60’s!

5. Alpha Bladie (me) am the Leader, and my co leaders are Applex, Toilieban, Woo Doo. I swear to God, we will always be online lmfao (these guys are hardcore)

6. Aeterna was formed in 2004ish 2005ish in a MMO Ragnarok Online. We were respected throughout the servers and regarded as one of the toughest guilds. Our guild leader had some sort of charisma in the guild that made the guild really special. No elitists, all international, and no descrimination in age.

We’re all veterans tbh… A lot of us stopped playing MMO’s until we started doing GW2 and noticed that their WvWvW was a lot similar to GvG in Ragnarok online. Next thing u know we bought the game on impulse with 5 of us on prelaunch. Now there’s 10+ of us doing WvWvW everyday with sometimes over 15+ (while others are lvling)

7. Rules is to just be real. We’re all mature ppl but we do like to joke a lot to. It’s the mature part of when knowing to stop or apologizing if u start becoming a kitten. Ur an adult, so we’ll treat u like one right? We’re looking for more people to join and people to be interested to be more involved into the guild to actually build a structure atm. Right now we’re getting a nice flow of recruitments that we’re kinda looking into everyone and trying to get to know everyone and just to make sure what this guild is made for. We are overwhelmed with other servers atm in WvWvW. Our guild alone can break stonemist first and 2nd gate but we can’t deliver the final blow!… This means we need more ppl. Back to the drawing board. we dont like to quit. Hope that answers ur questions!

*edit** We encourage PVE as much as WvWvW! That’s where we’re going to be getting our gears, income, that’s where we’re going to meet potential new guildmates! and yes a lot of us lvl 80’s are grinding dungeuns atm along with WvWvWing.

After your reply, I’m really interested in your guild! It sounds to me like you enjoy a challenge, and starting up on the lower end of the guild server list is a great way to climb. It also will provide a real sense of accomplishment when the guild hits its stride and has earned its “bragging rights”.

I’m a vet gamer having played 99% of every MMO published since Everquest I. I say 99% because I am sure I may have missed one or two.

I lead, I follow, I team play. I’m currently a lvl 80 Warrior on Dragonbrand. I’ve not touched WvW yet except to poke my nose inside the map. I was impressed as it looked a whole lot like DAoC. Looks like fun. I’m also interested in running Dungeons.

I bring a young 16 year old player with me, who I adopted several games ago. He is very mature, well spoken and loves a challenge. In fact, he was an officer in a guild when I met him. I was completely floored when I learned how old he was!

If we sound like we would be a good fit with Aeterna, let’s talk!

Disappointing WVW recently having been matched up against far superior numbers. Aeterna still hits the battlegrounds and makes progress every time. We need more members to better counter the extreme zergfest. Join now for guild bonuses as well as hardcore pve, pvp and wvw action!

We got a pretty devoted core of 15-20 people here, but we need more if we want to make a major impact in WvW! Join up folks!

Will start frapsing soon and doing more and more guild events/quests.
