Hello Out There,
My wife and I are looking for a guild of folks who are involved in all aspects of the game. Between kids, work, and generally busy lives we still make the time for our favorite digital hobby – and no I don’t mean Chatroulette. Our play-times consist of week-evenings and weekends. I consider myself “casual-core” (more “core” when I have more time) and I am lucky enough to have a wife who plays not only because I do but because she really likes it as well.

What we bring:
Good attitudes, work well with groups, and willing to help others

Interests:
Grouping up to explore Tyria, run dungeons, and WvW. While I cannot be online every night, I do want to contribute and make a difference in our WvW situation and would enjoy being able to participate with folks over Vent/TS3/etc for WvW action and dungeons.

Hey there! I think our guild will be a great fit for you and your wife.

We are located on Anvil Rock server so you would both need to transfer.

Our members are active but take a laid back approach to the game but get things done regularly and we are looking for like minded players. We are a PvX guild so we often run both story and explore mode dungeons, participate in WvWvW and do world events. There are currently 40-45 members in the guild and we are continuing to grow.

We have completed many dungeon runs in the guild without having to bring specific professions or roles and enjoy figuring out how to complete something with what we have over forcing ourselves to play differently to have success therefor we welcome all classes and play styles to the guild.

We use Ventrilo for voice communication but it is not a requirement that you use it, although even to pop in and listen while doing a dungeon or WvWvW is helpful.

We have an application form on our website but if you check it out it is more of a let you know what we are about and who you are kind of thing vs. anything formal. We are trying to attract the right kind of people and this helps.

Edge of Chaos [EoC] is a guild on the Dragonbrand server that you may be interested in. We already have multiple husband/wife pairs that are active in the guild. The Shadow Legion on Tarnished Coast would love to have you and your wife in our guild. We already have several couples playing together with us there, enjoying all aspects of the game. While we are primarily a WvW guild, other do get together and enjoy the other aspects the game has to offer. We consider ourselves to be casual-core also.

Our guild, Twisted Descent, is just starting to recruit members. We range from mid twenties to late thirty’s. We’re just looking for a small group, 20-30, who have night time / evening schedules, spouses, children. My gf and I have a 3yr old so we’re mainly on in the evening into the night. Most of the others are married, in a relationship and/or have children. We want to provide a guild that is relaxed, fun, yet still progressive and competitive for mature ppl. Serenity and Scars [SnS] is now recruiting (Tarnished Coast). We are a group founded by a couple and most of our members are females. Our purpose is to get together with like-minded women gamers [partners, male and female, are welcome as well] and have a good time running dungeons, doing events and being social!

We are a US based, laid back mature group of people, most of whom have been gaming for 10+ years. We pride ourselves on our dry humor, laughter, and having good times with good people. We strive to uphold a positive game etiquette, and to maintain a respectful game play environment. We are about enjoying all the game has to offer and helping each other progress through the content. If you are looking for a laid back guild free of mindless childish chatter who offer some dry humorous antidotes to escape the daily real life grind then our guild is for you. We are real life adults (certified!), we are experienced gamers, with professions, real life obligations outside the game. We don’t equate real life self esteem with how much we can crit in a dungeon, though we pride ourselves on our mad skills

It seems that there are a lot of guilds out there that have what we consider to be ludicrous requirements for membership.

“Moonies” are not required to spend any “set” amount of time in game. Log in when you feel like it. Once in, spend your time doing what is fun for you. If you like dungeons and pvp, enjoy! If those things are not your cup of tea, by all means, don’t do them! Keep your money! We will not “tax” you or ask you to contribute real life or game cash for anything. Ever. Group and participate in guild chat if/when you feel like it. Quietly do your thing solo if that’s what you enjoy.
WE DO ASK MEMBERS TO REPRESENT US 90% of the TIME.
This promotes community, and guild loyalty is rewarded.
