Guild Wars 2

Hello there community, I’m Diablo Pt (Pt = Portugal) it’s my character name, i’m new at GW2 i have a Thief level 21 and sometimes the world feels empty, sure there are players doing events and such but the chat many of times is very empty, no one chats there, the only way that i had to chat with other players was when i was in a very small party for event completion.
So i was thinking that the time has come for me to search for a guild, but in what concerns MMORPG and since WoW i am scared of joining a guild, because in WoW they say “join us we are a cool helpfull community…you will feel happy here” well not quite, even when i was in guild the guild chat and the people of the guild didn’t seem so active and i tried more than 15 different guilds, i have to yet find a guild worthy of the name.
Yes this is a virtual world, but if they invented guilds that seem to a close community or even a “big happy family” i do want to be part of one, be helped, be helpfull, do dungeons, party, events, chill out with guild mates, etc… i do wish to be part of a cool, helpfull and very active community, the size of guild doesnt matter, numbers don’t match quality.
I just wich for a guild that is actually a GUILD, and lives up to it, like i said, party in events, dungeons, cilling out all together, even in gatherings if we stand there for an entire hour or more i dig such things.
I aiming for PvE, PvP, WvsW, etc…i enjoy all components of the game and i’m sure that there are more new things for me and being on a cool, dedicated and active guild will definitely help me find that new stuff, and improve as a player.
I really hope i can find a Guild like this or better.

I’m an officier in Sinister Twilight [SIN]. I can totally empathise with you about not feeling important in a guild. I felt this through the majority of my time in GW1. I never felt useful or needed in my guild, I just felt like another member.

In [SIN], it feels different. I feel like the people care about what I have to say and are happy to see me online.

We’re a growing guild, currently on 144 members, based on the Far Shiverpeaks. We’re English speaking, but there’s people from all European nationalities in our guild. We avidly do PvE (big events and general roaming), dungeon runs (farms, exp, story), FotM (ranging through all levels), WvW and Guild Missions. If you’re interested in sPvP, I’m currently looking to expand our sPvP community! The GC is usually very active and there’s usually someone online to answer your questions (some hours of the day are a little empty, like very early mornings).
