Guild Wars 2

Looking for opinions on which of these 2 servers to move from, i have seen positive stuff on both and would like to hear what others are thinking.

My main interests are going to be WvW and PVE.

Sanctum of Rall has a friendly, very helpful community both in WvW and in PvE. Ours guilds work very well together via voice chat! Our server name itself has a history, Rall was the name of a GSCH member whom passed away while eagerly awaiting Gw2 release and Anet named the server after him when GSCH contacted them.

As for Blackgate, they’re pretty good in WvW, moving to tier 1 this week. Unsure of their pve side!

Both BG and SoR will suit you for PvE and WvW

it just depends on which time zone you are in BG does have a more even spread of numbers over all timezones but SoR has a few more in NA timezone but less oceanic and EU players

BG will be moving to tier 1 this week and the PvE community was one of the first things which attracted me to this server

BG has a WvW community website which can help you pick a guild best suited for your needs and server wide voice chat for WvW

my advice would be to jump over to BG or SoR and check out the community for yourself, if one or the other doesn’t feel right you can always switch over a week later

Somthing to add, not sure if it makes a much of a difference or not but….i am very new to the game, so would like a server where the people are willing to help out a noob from time to time, also right now i have a guardian and warrior that are both lvl 6, and they are my highest ones, and its looking like i will be going with the guardian as my first main.

Sanctum of Rall is a very PvE friendly server along with having a strong WvW community at the same time.

You will be able to find many people running around low level area’s giving out free stuff, along with helping people out with hearts and much much more. Sanctum of Rall is a growing server and there are many guilds that could fit your tastes.

Sanctum is definitely the server for you then. We are very helpful to new players, setting up server class trainers (I am the guardian trainer) for people wishing to level a new class or even starting from scratch. We also run weekly WvW training events.

Ok, so i am leaning to one of the server but one more thing to throw out there, my main playing times are in the mornings into afternoon EST. (say 830am-3pm ish)
othere than an EU server, out of BG and SOR where will i find more people for dungons, groups and WvW and things of that nature?

Sanctum of Rall. We have the largest NA presence so basically we would have a large amount of players on around that time, including later in the afternoon/evening.

I know that BG has a decent NA presence but it’s nothing close to what SoR has i’m pretty sure.
