Guild Wars 2

My boyfriend and I are looking for an active guild. We are semi-hardcore players, him more-so than I (due primarily to housework), and would like a guild that shares common interests. We have been gaming, with each other, for over 6 years. I have been a gamer for 20 years; he has done it for equally as long, if not longer. Your guild does not have to be extremely large, it just has to be active; we do not want to join a guild that resembles a cemetery at all hours of the day.

- Participates in PvE and WvW (we’re indifferent to sPvP)

A little history
Apex is a multi-gaming clan which has been together since 2002 playing games such as Legend of Mir 2 and Ultima Online. Our name began to spread amongst the MMO world during the Legend of Mir 3 years where Apex dominated. Since then Apex has flocked to dozens of MMOs and other online games such as Aion, WoW, League of Legends, DOTA 2, RF Online, Guild Wars, World of Tanks, Eve Online, Diablo III, Starcraft II, and many others.

Our intentions
Apex arrive into Guild Wars 2 not to just play and have fun (which is our main priority) but to also make a status for ourselves on the server in both PvE and PvP. We have dedicated and friendly members that will always help each other out when needed and when it comes to competitiveness then there’s no better heads to turn to – of course bringing a bucket of ice cold water is usually good for those heated PvP moments.

What we will be doing
To get ourselves into the game we’ll be just going in casually just to get to know the game a bit better. After a short period of this we are going to be having set days for dungeon crawling, WvW raids (the whole clan) , and structured PvP. We’re also putting together fixed Tournament groups to get us up the rankings and to make a name for ourselves.

Who can join?
Anyone can join the clan. While the majority of us are from the UK, we do have many players that are from Spain, Denmark, Holland, Germany, and other countries within Europe and the odd few from overseas. There is no age restriction however the one thing we do require is that you act in a mature manner, but also make sure that you can have a good old laugh too. :p

1. We both have mics and wouldn’t have an issue using them.

2. We are both hard core gamers and understand how guilds work and all of the bs that goes on behind the scenes to make them operate (I have been a guild leader in EVERY MMO I have ever played in the last 15 years and she loves doing things like spreadsheets and websites for guilds).

3. I want to do dungeons soley for the achievement/experience (I already have complete 80 exotic gear that I made/bought via tp and I could care less about different skins for gear). But I wish to do them with people on voip and not pugs hence why we haven’t done a single dungeon yet.

4. WvW we like doing at times but we would prefer obviously doing it via voip with good direction/planning.

5. Any guilds with karoke night cuz she’s got a great voice and loves to sing =p?

6. We play the game daily for hours upon end but we have kids so dinner/bedtime is sometimes an issue for us to be active and we are in the eastern time zone. Many times we end up playing till 3-5 am est.

Not sure if you guys have found a home yet, but thought I would liven up your post a bit, and get you back to the first page…. I am not around much on the weekend (due to a second job), so at times I miss posts that happened.

Anyway, feel free to check out Disarray on Anvil Rock (if you wouldn’t mind switching servers). we are a PvX guild that focuses on both WvW and Explorer Mode Dungeons.

We have Ventrilo, and although we don’t have an Open Mic Night, that might be something we could start :o) Love to listen to others sing, unless you sound like a drunken ogre or something :o)

- Roughly 50 – 60 members. We are still recruiting as we can normally fill 2 groups of either WvW or Dungeons, but have some people that sit out. Would like to be able to fill another full group.

- In WvW, we are normally not part of the Zerg. We pay attention to chat, but try to find strategic keeps to hold hours on end, building siege weapons to defend them against the mindless zergs that try to take them from us. We are all decent players that tend to stay in vent together for the most part while playing.

- Different Explorer Mode Dungeons are run almost nightly. Once in a group, people decide on what dungeon to run, and we get it done!

- Located throughout the US and Canada. Although most of our players are on during the evening, every time I log in (be it 6 AM in the morning or 6 PM in the evening) there are at least a few players online at that time.
