Introduction
Equinox and Solstice are both astronomy terms referring to a specific day in each season. “Equinox” occurs in spring and fall, whereas “Solstice” occurs in summer and winter. Equinox also refer to the period when the day and night are equal in length, and Solstice refer to the longest and shortest day in summer and winter representatively. Thus, we have chosen “TIME” as our tag as relation to our guild name. Our guild was officially founded and created on 18-February-2013.

Equinox Solstice [TIME] do not have any main focus. Activities are performed spontaneously. At one time we maybe doing dungeons, on other time we maybe running in WvWvW. However, important guild-wide activities will be schedule on specific date and timing.

Founder
Our founder is a veteran gamer with decade of gaming experience and was a “High Officer” or “Council” equivalent from Kairos [kI], and was also the de-facto leader of [kl] for a certain period of time. Due to the inactivity of [kl]’s Leader and other co-leaders, some members and the founder of [TIME] was concerned about the future of the continuity of [kl], which led us to make the decision to leave [kI] and form [TIME]. Our guild was formed with all the existing active members of [kI], marking our new guild’s size at more than a hundred during our creation.

Visions
Equinox Solstice [TIME] will have an environment that is approachable by anyone and everyone, a place where fun-loving, outgoing and nice players gather. A guild that is filled with fun and laughters, and open to both serious discussions and casual chit-chats. Members will be forging bonds and friendships with one another, helping one another and progressing forward. Veteran players will be willing to give a helping hand, teaching and guiding the newbies to be better and stronger.

[TIME] also aspire to become a guild with high unity such that activities will be performed as a guild with fellow guildies. Members will call the guild their home in Guild Wars 2, and wear our name with pride.

[TIME] also seek to become a socially responsible guild thus members should behave appropriately and not cause any unhappiness within the community.

Active timezone
Our active timezone falls between UTC/GMT +6 and +9. Though we believe an online game should allow us to interact with people from different parts of the world, but we also want to make sure that the members of our guild are from around the same timezone so that no one will be left alone during the guild’s off-peak hours, and not to be left out on any major activities. Thus, we have chosen the regions with the least time difference.

All in all, we have players from Singapore (majority), Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippine, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Korea and Australia. We also have players from the United Kingdom, United States, Canada and Italy – these players do not mind the fact they might experience low activity at other hours as we do have certain degree of 24 hours coverage.

Our important guild activities are scheduled in a way that regardless of what timezone you are from, you are unlikely to miss it.

Fundamental Rule
Our rule is focus along the line of respect, standard of morale, ethics and virtue. All our members are treated equally under the rules regardless of their seniority or personal relationships. We maintain a fair and just rules system. This list is not exhaustive, but may serve as a general idea of our limits.

Representing Rules
While we allow our members to “not represent” at times, we will still kick members who have not been representing the guild for a long time. This is to ensure that our guild roster stays at a healthy and active level. In doing so, we can open up our limited slots to the players who intend to be a part of our community.

Joining the Guild
Joining the guild is relatively easy, there isn’t really any special requirements. We do accept players from other regions but we have to remind you of the low activity at the other hours. We also do accept players from other servers but there will be ranks restrictions as according to our ranks guidelines. Despite that, if you still wish to be part of this growing community, we will welcome you wholeheartedly.

Equinox Solstice [TIME] is an well-managed growing guild with established structures and responsible leaders. Within less than two weeks since our creations, our total active members are reaching 200, and having an average of more than 40 online during asia’s night timing.

The continuous unity efforts from our members to build up the guild has also bought us rapid growth. Within these period, we have torched many places in attempts to push up our influence.

Equinox Solstice [TIME] is still opened for recruitment! We are currently heavily focused on PvE to massively build up our guild influences. We love the guild and for that reason, everybody are working hard together! If you are seeking for an united, friendly and outgoing guild, a place you can call your home (in guild wars 2), we are the correct choice!

Yesterday (or two days ago), some of us got bored so we decided to visit WvWvW for a bit, taking a small break from our influence farming. It was a nice run, taking towers and keeps.

Equinox Solstice [TIME] is still recruiting! If you are new to the game, we are able to provide knowledgeable and reasonable advises, and practical activities to bring you to a new height. For experience gamers, you will find yourself in a community that is friendly, fun and united – forging bonds and friendships. Our active numbers and the fact that we only formed 2-3 weeks ago, itself is a proof of members’ trust towards the guild.

We have updated our guild description and changed our stand as an asia guild, because it seems to be a little prejudice. We are now officially an guild with a active timezone between UTC/GMT +6 and +9.

We already have players across several countries and we hope to build the guild into a more vibrant community, thus we are recruiting more outgoing players to join us,

Yesterday, we did our first guild run on temple of Grenth and also gathered many others to join in the fun. The numbers isn’t a lot but our teamwork bought it down!

We did our first guild bounty yesterday after much delay (since we tried to get all the guild upgrades at the same time). Our virgin run on guild bounty was an interesting one, we did suicidal jump at the end of the mission. We are pleasantly surprised that despite being a weekday, many members came online to participate the test run!

We are still recruiting more players to join us! Do note that once we reach an optimal size, we will stop recruiting. Equinox Solstice [TIME] is not focused in pure huge numbers but into forging bonds and friendships, building good guild team works.

The guild is now one month old. The combined contributions from all the members has finally allow the guild to access more contents and we will also be activating guild buff magic find 10% permanently.

Equinox Solstice is a relatively young guild which was created on 18-Feb-2013 but has been enjoying progressive growth since and have reach a certain level of self-sustainability to hold multiple events on its own successfully.

On recent weeks, we encountered rapid growth and the guild has reach a peak online counts higher than expected. To ensure that the guild stays within its vision, we will be closing our recruitment soon to focus in guild building (aka nation building).
