Took the plunge as an early NYE present to myself Heard great things about this game so hoping it lives up to the hype! Swore I’d get out of the MMO game after WoW, but, well, here we are!

Looking for a newb-friendly guild. Located in Soviet Canuckistan and I’m on the EST clock.

I’m a member of Masters of Ascendance [MOA], housed on Sorrow’s Furnace. We’re a medium and growing guild of about 10-20 players active during North American [EST] evening and Australian evening time. Sorrow’s Furnace is an active server that, although being a low-tier WvW competitor, makes up for it by plenty of PVE grouping.

We’re a supportive guild that encourages all styles and levels of play. Most of our members are casual but active on a daily basis, and it’s normal to find us organizing dungeon runs, map clearings, jump puzzles, and even user-made games like scavenger hunts (recent).

Our objective is to have fun playing the game in a group setting while encouraging each other and pulling all members through challenging game content. We have no strict representation rules, and our members are funny, helpful, and skilled.

The guild is growing and right now we feature a well-stocked guild bank and several tier-1, 2 and 3 upgrades to boost karma and magic find, which can be activated by guild officers during group events. We also have a Teamspeak server and a website (http://mastersofascendance.shivtr.com) that you can check out.

We invite you to visit our guild and talk with us either in game or on vent. . What would it hurt? The majority of our guild is 21 and older, but we also have down to 18 of age. We are all working class and/or university students and/or have families to take care of. We are mainly American and Canadian time zones, but have a few Euros from England, Finland and other areas that came with us from Guild Wars(so International guild). We log on to have fun and relax, so I am guessing you would consider us a casual guild. We have people may do one or a mixture of all; Pve, Pvp, dungeons, and Wvw. We don’t want to make the game a job, because that not what games are for. We are slowly rebuilding the guild at this time. We are looking for people, willing to help us grow. We are friendly and will do what we can or when we can for others in the guild. We enjoy new people, thoughts and ideas. Each new person brings a special gift or unique quality to add to the guild. ASq are a fun, friendly, relaxed & mature guild on the Gandara server. We are an English speaking guild, mostly European based at the moment with a couple of members in the EST time zone but would like to recruit members in all time-zones to support all players at all times.

We are currently a small player base especially following the unfortunate natural drop of initial players growing bored quickly of GW2 & becoming inactive but those of us that remain play regularly & we are looking for active & regular players to help our guild grow & progress in all areas of the game. We also welcome casual players & solo players that are looking for a relaxed place to chat & group as & when they feel for it. We fully appreciate & understand that life always comes first & this is just a game to have fun in & so anyone that has reached member rank or higher do not lose their guild status even if inactive for any period of time & this is something I would only be forced to consider if/when we ever reached the maximum cap of 500 members.

We organise regular dungeon/fractal runs (currently schedule 4 a week numbers permitting & further ad-hoc runs often occur through the week with a mix of guild/PuG as necessary at the moment) & monthly WvW runs (these will no doubt increase as the players require) & help each other as much as we can whenever & wherever needed.

We are happy for our members to multi-guild & also if they prefer, to primarily be based on another EU server & join up with us on dungeon runs (I believe we can also group on fractals if in an overflow).

I run an actively casual guild on Devona’s Rest and we’re always looking for more players interested in joining our ranks. We have weekly events, such as dungeon runs and WvW, but we’re also the spontaneous type that will decide on the hour to do something. I’m Pix from the Society, a Semi-hardcore PvX/WvW guild on Yak’s Bend. We’re a medium sized international guild with about 50 members, averaging 8-16 players on daily. We sport quite a few Canadians, including our GL, who we mock constantly with moose jokes. You’d feel right at home.

We’re passionate about our WvW, and part of the Yak’s Bend Alliance. We’re looking for for equally passionate players who are looking for a friendly atmosphere and a mature social group.

The Gryphons Aerie is a smaller, casual yet social, 18+ PvE/RP guild on Tarnished Coast. While we’re mostly PvE, we also have a few people who enjoy a bit of casual WvW. We know that RL comes first and stress that fact. We’ll still be there even if you can’t for a bit of time. We enjoy helping each other and doing things together when possible. All you have to do is ask if you need help with something and we’ll do our best to come to your aid.

There is also no requirement to be representing us at all times. It’s not our business to tell you who you can and cannot associate with; that choice is yours alone. All we ask is that you give us some time too. We do have a TeamSpeak 3 as well, but it’s use is on a purely optional basis.
