My boyfriend (lawrence) and I played wow for 2 years and made a change to gw2 for new content and more fun. We play as a way to keep in touch when we are apart.
My boyfriend played gw1 back in the day lol. We have experience gaming but are still getting used to Gw2 and we do have officer experience from our time playing wow. He plays a thief and I play a Mesmer. We play a lot but are really casual. We are in the gate of madness server. I hope someone would love to have us join their lovely guild. We like a small size guild with people to meet and possibly a couple to play with.

central time zone. Mainly pve but we do pvp for fun and we have not tried wvw but we would like too.

You guys sound like a lot fun, and I really like that you’re kind of casual players (but want to play well), so I’ll put this here in case you’re interested.

[VZ] is a medium-sized PvX guild on the Stormbluff Isle server. We’re primarily PvE players, and we’re a really casual guild. That said, even though we’re casual, we make it a point to be some of the best players around at what we do; we smash up every dungeon in the game from AC to Arah to Fractals L48. Furthermore, in case my signature weren’t making it obvious enough, I WvW with the guild a lot and lead a bit here and there time permitting. We also have guild bounties and treks, and do them weekly. Furthermore, we’re in the EST time zone, so we’re not that far off from you and your time zone would mesh well with the time zone that we primarily play in. We also have voice chat, and recommend that, but it’s not required (a big thing for the guild in my opinion is no requirements or mandatory things, so that the player has as much freedom as possible). We’re also really friendly with people who aren’t total pros, and we’re more than happy to talk you through harder instances, give you tips, and help you improve if you’re willing (hopefully you are!).

My boyfriend and I are actually on a bit of the opposite. We met playing GW1 then picked up WoW together, hehe. We’ve been living together 6 years now and are loving GW2 together.

We’d love to have you in Guardians of the Mists – Jade Quarry based sever. You don’t need to transfer if you don’t want, you can still earn commendations from guild missions while on your server, but you do get benefits for transferring to your guilds main server.

We’re pretty casual, around 100 members, small and friendly. We run bounties several times a week and have treks by next week. There’s also lots of dungeoning, farming, and fun times going around.

[UM] is a friendly, mature, and casual to semi-casual (we don’t have activity req) NA guild that provides a helpful and fun atmosphere. Who We Are
We are a PvX guild with a pride in respecting others, no matter their play style or play level. We also are tight knit and enjoy getting to know one another through activities such as Dungeons, WvW, Fractals, sPvP, or partying up in PvE to do Orr events and
Dragons, and even helping with lvling main characters and alts.

The Unholy Mackerels has a core group of active members and we are building upon that, however doing so slowly so we get to know each and every one. We currently are a medium size guild with 55 members and with 20+ of us active daily, consisting of mostly NA members.

We are quite the social guild through teamspeak and guild chat. We use teamspeak but do not require it. Our newer members can listen in on the first few days and talk when they feel comfortable, however most talk within minutes because of how easy going everyone is!

What We Do
We currently run weekly scheduled WvW, Dungeons, Fractals, Guild Treks and Guild Bounties and do any of the above throughout the week off schedule. Also we provide FUN events and random guild chat trivia with prizes. There is always something going on daily, usually any time after 6pm EST – 2am EST during the weekdays and any time during the weekends.

What Server We Are On
You can find us on the Fort Aspenwood server. A tier 2 server for WvW, has quite a busy PvE population in maps, has a friendly community forums for all things GW2, also has a community teamspeak where everyone is welcome and also has our own guild channel (however we use our private TS in most cases), and a server that enjoys working together through good communication while playing to just have fun.

What if I’m not on FA?
No fear! UM allows recruits to guest for up to a month in order to help everyone to have time to gather in game gold or irl money in order to transfer. Our staff and members are also more than willing to help by running events to help out! With all the events we run it is very easy to make the money to transfer in as little as a week.
