Hello everyone! I’m Mirarii and I’m here representing the two members of Bootleg Fireworks.
If you’re interested, here is a little bit of back story-Caedance and I have been playing Guild Wars 2 together since shortly after launch. We both have several 80s, but stick to our mains mostly (I play a necromancer, he plays an elementalist.) We have been friends for quite some time and play GW2 together nightly. We also partake in regular Skype calls, usually while playing. We eventually decided to leave the guild we were in as it fell apart for whatever reasons. Shortly after we created a guild of our own, mostly for the tag and heraldry to show off. Eventually we found out that between the two of us, we could generate enough influence to make some banners and other small boosts and bonuses. After a few too many not so stellar PuGs and realizing that the two of us were outnumbered by most groups in WvW we decided that maybe it was a good time to look for a few more people to join us.
If you don’t care about fluff I’ll just get down to business in the following paragraph.
As stated above, the only members of Bootleg Fireworks are Caedance and myself. We are looking for a few more (no more than ten, likely about four or five) to join us for regular activities. Currently we partake in nightly FotM 12 runs, usually just one, but sometimes we do two. We also do a bit of (very)small group WvW, and are potentially planning on some s/t PvP. Dungeons are less frequent, but we do them occasionally. There is also the possibility of guild missions in the future, but it’s not foreseeable that we will accrue enough influence.
We are looking for a few more nice, mature, laid back players to join us. There is no commitment and requirements are fairly lax. Joining [DNFS] is not akin to joining the average zergfest community of players; rather it is like entering into a tight-knit group of friends with similar interests. There are inside jokes and stories that a newcomer initially may not understand, but as this sort of group grows and diversifies one may feel more comfortable and friendlier with the rest of us. This isn’t as much of a guild as it is a group of friends.
If you are interested in joining the few preferences and requirements we have are as follows:
- Skype is not required, but very preferable as this is our main method of communication.
- Adults only. The two of us are college students so we expect maturity at least at the levels of our own(not very high).
- Friendliness.
- You don’t need to be on Maguuma, however if you are looking to WvW with us this is obviously required.
- Fluent ability in English.
- Please be willing to take a joke and create your own. Lewd and offensive humor may come up; but respect is still key.
- We are not hardcore, but a short “interview” of sorts will take place just to be sure that you will not feel uncomfortable or be the odd one out in the guild.
