Diesel Power [DP]

Who are we?
Diesel Power is a guild based in EU, founded by a couple friends who go way back to heavy MMO gaming in other popular titles.
Since the game just got release, our focus lies everywhere. Exploring is the answer! As soon as we fill up, we plan to organize both PvE and PvP activities. WvWvW is very tempting, as are dungeons. For more dedicated members, sPvP isn’t a stranger either.

What do we want?
The current core consists of a few experienced players, we consider ourselves HC or semi-HC sort but are now gazing out of the college life and we’ve no more time for 18h/day gaming. So we are looking for people with similar game style and preferences.
With that in mind, we have the following requirements:

• age 18+
• english is mandatory and only language allowed in gchat
• mature, competent, reliable person

What do we offer?
First of all, the idea is to create a friendly atmosphere where guild members answer each others questions and help out when it’s needed. We share our knowledge and abilities, we promote group play and helping each other where and when possible. Currently counting 16 members and growing. We have full leveled Tailoring, Jewelcrafting, Weaponsmith, Artificer professions within the guild, and others on the way. Free crafting for guild members is guaranteed.
We got guild stash, emblem, guild armorer, weaponsmith and are now sockpiling 1 time buffs for PvP, WvW and PvE. We have a website (forum, gallery, event calendar…) – http://sol.abyssportal.com , and a ventrilo server. At this point only forum membership is needed, we will focus on ventrilo activity once we grow and start doing more events in larger groups. Speaking of which, guild based sPvP for fun, tournaments for members who like to PvP on a more serious level, and dungeon groups ofc.

I’m interested in joining, and am mostly looking for a guild that I can do some dungeon runs with once in a while, and was wondering how you guys do your dungeons runs.
Like, do you run any combination of professions, or look for specific one set-ups?
Do you farm only the shortest and easiest paths, or do every and all paths till the end regardless of how difficult they are?

Well for starters, we have no set rules for that simply because the game is new, ppl are still leveling, there’s maybe 10 of us level 80 and we are just starting to do dungeon runs. So it will be done however we all together want it to be done. For start, I think it’s wise to mix classes if possible, cause I doubt 3 warriors and 2 thieves would have a causal run. Once everyone knows their way around a dungeon, we can make farm runs with specific build aimed for faster clearing, but this all comes naturally.

I think once the guild has enough members, you will be more than able to choose if you want to start a fast farm run or a slower “let’s kill them all” kind of run.
ATM we’re only 16 and we can go further into details once we double that.

We are still growing, slowly but surely. 21 members atm, dungeon runs, small WvW groups are forming and so on..if u wanna join, U know what to do.
