We are looking for individuals or guilds who primarily play during the daytime hours in NA to help fill in some numbers gaps. We do have a very strong Oceanic presence and it’s usually when most NAers have tucked in that DB really gets going, but we want to fix that and be able to keep the ball rolling nearly 24-7! With that said, we wouldn’t mind more of you Oceanics and EUers.

Ask any person who has been playing WvW on Dragonbrand for any decent amount of time what they think about DB, and they’ll tell you all about how awesome we are. I know all servers say that, and we’re all entitled to feel that way, but at Dragonbrand we truly epitomize Awesomeness, and here’s why:

1) We are as drama-free as you can be while still dealing with leafies, furries, shorties, giants, and plain ol’ humans.
2) We work together extremely well and you’ll find that our commanders work in tandem to accomplish more than one task simultaneously.
3) We are really friendly. You won’t find the kind of trash talking and trolling that you find on other servers.
4) We are home to a very strong base of dedicated players who play on a regular basis.
5) We consider all players, commanders, and guilds as allies, thus we have created the Catalyst Alliance.
5) Did I mention we are awesome?

It is vital to note that Dragonbrand has been steadily moving up in the ranks and proving that we are a force to be reckoned with. Currently we are a Tier 3 Server, having moved about from Tier 5-6 in the course of the last month. We plan to be Tier 1, and we have every bit of determination to be, but we’d like to do it while making new alliances and friends.

IF you or your guild is remotely interested, come check us out and play here before transfers cost money. We don’t care if you aren’t a top dog in your server; we only care that you are loyal and dedicated team player.

Replies might take up to 24 hour depending on your timezone, and this is why we want Oceanic and EU players! We really want to round our our presence in WvW.

Just throwing this out there, but isn’t Oceanic our strongest contingent right now? We usually have ques during that time.

having just faced DB I would have expected DB to ask for NA transfers; Although competent, DB’s Oceanic presence seems far larger than it’s NA one, with their opponents these last two weeks only able to delay DB’s massive nighttime army’s complete takeover each night.

Well DB finally has a really decent night crew again, and evenings and nights or NA players are really strong. We are slower during our morning and daytime hours, and I had since re-consulted my “colleagues” and we are re-training our focus on NA, as Oceanic is our strength and if anything we’d just want more because we’re greedy :P.

Dragonbrand grows stronger every week, we are a very close community with a friendly community!

Dragonbrand has probably largest if not second largest Taiwanese force.

LOL it just goes without needing saying, that’s how awesome it is!

Been playing DB for awhile, love it here.

I spent a while in T1 on a another server and honestly grew to dislike the WvW atmosphere. To much yelling and complaining for anyone to actually enjoy the game. I guess up there they had really lost sight of just having fun and began to focus on winning and winning alone.

With that said, that’s not Dragonbrand. In transfering here (as we were still in the middle of our epic fall) out community grew very close. We learned just because you get a outmanned buff doesn’t mean you can’t take SM a time or two :P . We are a scrappy server who goes down swinging (if we go down at all). But most importantly we have fun and that’s what matters. I must say as a commander, that we all (commanders) make dumb decisions every now and then. But it’s nice to see a community that doesn’t hound you for that mistake. SHOULD some random person become angry, there are 10+ guys always willing to take up for you and man that’s a relief.

We would love transfers, but I think more then anything we want to keep that unity and friendly environment. Please keep that in mind before comming here xD !

I love DB!! I’ve been here since day 1 and there’s no other place I’d want to call home. I was here for the mass exodus of guilds that left us weak and crippled. My own guild suffered in the process, demanding we move to a "better’ server. Long story short, I gutted 2/3 of the guild, stayed and rebuilt. After all this time, I now know I made the right decision. People on DB are friendly, have a great sense of humor and know how to have fun. We have some great commanders that really know what they’re doing. The thing I like the most is that DB is virtually drama free and prides itself on being a classy server. To all of you that have joined us in the past or decide to in the future, I welcome you and thank you for your contribution in where we are now.

Glad to see such pride in DB. We really are friendly and drama free. If people are looking for a stronger server with great pride, respect, and community then Dragonbrand is truly a great home.

My lady and I have been on Dragonbrand for several days now and have been having a great time thus far. We’re in the central time zone in the U.S. , so when we’re out there in WvW (or ZergvZerg as it’s become) there aren’t nearly as many of us defending our territory as there seem to be after we hit the sack. lol Anyway, if YOU are in North America and are looking for an outstanding server of people to WvW with, come join DB! Mandar is correct, the general population is excellent.

I didn’t think DB was gonna put up a recruitment thread at all,
We’ve been doing pretty well getting new guilds without one :P

But yeah,
DB is in a really good place WvW-wise right now.
As far as I’m AWARE, we have no guilds that are liable to jump ship before paid transfers kick in,
Our community has been pretty stable since we lost our previous wave of guilds to SoS back in like September.

I saw a queue in DB BL yesterday, but FA and CD BL were both completely empty, so we definitely have more room to welcome some new guilds or players ;D

Dragonbrand is pretty awesome. Not only do they have the coolest server name, they have some great guilds in WvW.

On DB as well, started here and has been a decent experience.

The thing about Dragonbrand that I think sets us a bit apart from other servers is that we are growing slowly. We climbed the tiers slowly adjusting to each new level staying in each tier for the most part more than a week. We have the foundation for a stable WvW server mainly you can see this in our coverage. It is a place to grow and learn WvW , rarely do you see anyone hating in chats. Coming here as a guild or a person you would be joining a strong server with the potential to reach higher tiers.

We also have a large PVE population.

Great server, great people. I think all recent new guilds that transfered over can concur that they were warmly welcomed. I don’t think we lost any major guilds since the exodus to SOS, and that has been a long time.

We could use more coverage on our NA and European prime time to reach 24/7. In time I believe we will be a tier 3 and higher server. All guilds are treated equally and fairly with respect.
