Guild Wars 2

Hello. I’m looking for a guild in Dragonbrand that is friendly, social, helpful, and sophisticated. 18+ is nice, but just being an adult doesn’t necessarily ensure one is mature. I honestly don’t play too much because I have classes and work and other such things that occupy most of my time, and often when I have time to kill, I don’t want to play GW2; however, that’s primarily because I’ve been soloing for nearly 50 levels and it’s a drag with nobody else who can play with you.

I primarily like doing PvE and WvW, and I enjoy armoursmithing as a crafting trade. To be completely honest, I don’t want to have to go through the trouble of registering at a guild site or setting up a vent; I just like to be able to log on and get going without the hassle of maintaining a forum profile or making sure I have to be on voice chat.

Also, I don’t like names that sound like a tween came up with them because they are so ridiculously cool.

I’m picky when it comes to joining a guild because so many are either inactive, unfriendly, or have an unhealthy obsession with talking about sex, but I get along well with most anybody.

Pansies Voicelessly Exploring [PVE] doesn’t have a site or voice chat, and enjoys PvE primarily. But we’re on Sanctum of Rall and we’re not into WvW (though we’ll explore it for map completion).

Hmm. Nobody is in Dragonbrand in that one? I don’t want to switch over worlds, but other than that I would want to join.

Look no further than The Society, Mina! We seem to fit the bill quite nicely, and love to meet you. We’re a Dragonbrand Guild that loves WvW, but are active in all areas of the game.

We’re international, and a friendly and sociable group. We do not require voice, but do have something set up for those that are interested.

Here are the basic rules of The Society:

- We accept any new recruit on a trial basis. Not all personalities get along perfectly and we use this trial to judge if you fit in with the rest of us. New recruits are also requested to represent the guild exclusively during that trial.

- We dont want drama. This guild is here to have fun together, we dont want people starting kitten for the heck of it.

- We dont mind people in multiple guilds, but expect you to be representing our guild if you are rolling with us in wvw or pve/pvp.

- For now we only accept 18+ members. If you can prove us wrong as to why you can be 18- and mature, feel free, but dont get your hopes up

- Have fun. (yes that’s a rule.)

I understand you are not looking to switch worlds, but if you do reconsider server transferring (since it is free), I’d like to invite you to check out Cynical on Crystal Desert Server. We are a NA based PVX guild with a focus on PvE and WvW. We currently have approx 80 members, most of which are in their 20’s and 30’s, and are adults going to school or working full time.

We are a casual guild, and we realize real life comes first, so we would not kick a member for not logging in for a few days. Because we try to keep our guild filled with active players, we do ask our members to let us know if they will be absent from the game for weeks at a time though :P

Cynical runs structured PvE Dungeon groups, exploration groups, and WvW groups on a regular basis. We are a member of a 14 guild Alliance, and have large scale WvW events every weekend, and throughout the week.

We have a number of members leveling new characters, as well as some new members leveling their first characters such as yourself, so the opportunity to group up with others for map completion exists also.

Cynical uses ventrilo for voice chat, we have full guild bufffs available for our members, and a max sized Guild Bank with lots of gear and items for new characters and alts!
