Q: Any guilds aligned on farming specific dungeons?

Since you can belong to multiple guilds in GW2, it seems to me like there’s room for someone on each server to effectively set up 8 guild specifically for education, communication, and group formation for specific dungeon runs.

For example, an AC-Dungeoneers guild, an SE-Dungoneers guild, and so on.

Then, people who need to farm AC for a while can join the AC-Dungeoneers guid and when they are in the mood to go farm AC, they can represent that guild and try to get a group set up from a more limited and focused pool of like-minded players, rather than by trying to advertise for a PUG.

Speaking for myself, PUGs are anathema in so many ways it’s not funny. I do group content only with a smaller pool of people that I know and with whom I can have voice comms for better coordination, and so on. And that means guildies only.

Problem is, if you’re in a smaller “casual” guild as your main guild, you can’t always count on being able to field a full 5-person group at any moment when you feel like spending an hour or so on group content. It can be much more hit or miss.

Anyone know whether any guilds like this have been set up on Maguuma? It would seem useful to the community to somehow create an index of guilds like this here in the dungeon forums, because the “Guilds” forum is frankly a mess that’s impossible to wade through.

I would definitely join these guilds. I guess it wouldn’t matter which server b/c players from different servers can enter dungeons together. Or if this is too many guilds, you can possibly form one “Dungeon Only” guild and find a team for any dungeon across servers.
