Guild Wars 2

Hi Everyone,

My guild basically fell apart. No one plays the game anymore, and I still like playing, so I guess it’s time to look for another guild. I don’t like guild hopping. I like finding a tight knit group of people to play with. I used to only like doing PvP, but GW2 is one of the first MMOs where I love the PvE as much as the PvP.

Right now I’m a 35 ele. I started off with a Mesmer which is 80. I decided to reroll because the Mesmer class isn’t what I wanted it to be. I plan on doing a TON of AC dungeons. I want the gear from there. I also want to do map completion and work toward a legendary, so I’ll probably be down to join any dungeon group as I level. I’m kinda in between casual and hardcore. I put in a lot of hours when I actually sit down to play, but I’m also in grad school and work full time so there might be stretches of time where I have to be MIA or only log in long enough to do a few in-game chores. I like to study up on my class and play to the best of my ability. I frequent the forums and always tweak my character’s play style based on new findings.

As far as the type of guilds I prefer. I usually don’t deal well with “family” guilds, and I abhor spam guilds. If I drop an occasional f-bomb or swear word in guild chat I don’t want there to be a collective gasp followed by a reprimand for language. I understand being respectful, but at the same time I’m an adult and would like to speak to the same. I like a guild that socializes in vent or teamspeak. I feel like guilds that are active in voice chat have a better camaraderie, and work well together in groups.

Anyway, if you think I’m a fit for your guild, I’d love to hear from you. Right now I’m on Fort Aspenwood, but I’m willing to switch servers if the guild is the right fit.

We invite you to visit our guild and talk with us either in game or on vent. . What would it hurt? The majority of our guild is 21 and older, but we also have down to 18 of age. We are all working class and/or university students and/or have families to take care of. We are mainly American and Canadian time zones, but have a few Euros from England, Finland and other areas that came with us from Guild Wars(so International guild). We log on to have fun and relax, so I am guessing you would consider us a casual guild. We have people may do one or a mixture of all > Pve, Pvp, dungeons, and Wvw. We don’t want to make the game a job, because that not what games are for. We are slowly rebuilding the guild at this time. We are looking for people, willing to help us grow. We are friendly and will do what we can or when we can for others in the guild. We enjoy new people, thoughts and ideas. Each new person brings a special gift or unique quality to add to the guild. We truly hope that you will join us and give us a try.

If you like to play other on-line games, we have guildies that may may be playing the games your playing also. Such as (League of legends, Steam games, World of Warcraft, Aion, Tera, Starcraft, Diablo 2, 3) and much more. So I figure we can be considered a gaming (community, guild, or group). We also have Xbox players and Ps3 players.

*Members must use Ventrilo voice chat during Guild Events or Groups (being able to talk is neccessary)
*Members agree to log on to the guild website at least once every other week to keep up to date with guild news and events. Members who do not log on after one month will be removed from Guild. We are looking for members who participate in the community, not lurkers!
*Members who are absent for more than a month with no post on our forums will be removed from guild, in order to keep the guild active
*Members must treat one another with respect and dignity, refrain from making racist or sexist remarks, and remember that when dealing with other guild members, real life takes precedence over game time.

I’m the guild leader of Northern Kings, we are a small/medium sized guild located on Stormbluff Isle. (SBI is currently open for transfers!) We are a PvX guild, but we tend to have a lot of people who are into WvW/Dungeons.
