Name: The Conclave, or [CC] for short.
Realm we play on: Far Shiverpeaks
Total size: 200+ Members worldwide, but closely knit. We are not a community where you are just a number.
Size of our GW2 group: Currently 43 players
Setup: International, currently spanning 25+ different nationalities mostly from Europe and North America.
Community leadership: A group of 3 people with a combined experience in gaming and communities of 50 years.

Introduction:
The Conclave is an international multi gaming community that has existed for more than 10 years (it was founded on the 7th of July 2002) and currently comprises 200+ Members worldwide participating in a variety of games. Our Guild Wars 2 section is being lead by two Guild Wars 1 veterans who live/breathe/sleep GW2, has many additional Guild Wars 1 veterans playing as a part of it and is currently spanning 52 Members in total size.

Community goals:
1. To have fun in a social environment where people can contribute, each at his or her own level based on individual time constraints, ability etc.
2. To facilitate people of any type, be they casual or hardcore players. To this end we have assigned people to the various aspects of the game (PvE, PvP etc) to make sure we run a smooth operation.
3. To maintain the atmosphere we have had since our founding where nothing is mandatory and everything is possible: PvE dungeon runs, WvWvW PvP etc.
4. To listen to Member input and, within reasonable practical limits, implement these ideas and suggestions into our community for the benefit of all.

Community setup:
1. We have various dedicated people in charge of the different aspects of GW2, be this PvE dungeon runs, vista or jumping challenges, WvWvW PvP etc.

2. We have no age restrictions. We’d rather have a mature 13 year old than a whiny 40 year old dramaqueen. In short, we judge people by how they behave.

3. We have no time constraints or demands, so in short we don’t expect you to be online 24/7. We totally understand that you may have other hobbies, work, friends and family to dedicate time to. You contribute what you can based on your individual situation.

4. We adhere a lot of value to Member input. As a result we highly value people communicating and contributing through Teamspeak (meetings to decide the future of the Guild), the forum (topics, polls etc) or other means outside of the game (Facebook, Twitter). Again, based on how much time you want and can spent on it.

Well i joined yesterday and i can only say that it has been a positive experience so far.

I joined because i was looking to expand my gameplay-experience in Guild Wars 2. I wanted to do WvWvW and tPvP but hell its allot more fun when you do it with people you know!

If your looking for a community that will enhance you gameplay experience, The Conclave is the place to be ^^!

We also have several guild “events” for example; WvWvW at sundays:)

I too have also recently joined the ranks of CC and I must say, its one of the better guilds that I have come across. Everyone is very friendly and very helpful. I would strongly recommend that if anyone is looking for a guild, that they definitely take a look at joining The Conclave.

I am supposed to talk about my good experiences in the conclave, and i should absolutely not mention that they hold me at gunpoint. Or the atrocities they force me to commit. It’s totally a good community, really worth it to join us. You won’t regret joining us for long.

with WvWvW events, Spvp events and dungeon runs going on, i would say people that are looking for a guild have no reason not to join us ;-)

Also people that are from the PST time-zone are very welcome. We are looking to establish a more solid player base for PST time-zone players.

I’ve been in the guild/community for a little more than a week and i dont think I’ve laughed AND learned so much in such a small time before and there is always someone online.

I would recommend this guild to everyone since even though you get tired of GW2 we still have plenty of other games covered (WoW, BF3 etc.)

Definitely nice to have talked with you on TS Xewi, you’re definitely fitting nicely with the [CC] in terms of mentality (mature, can take a joke etc)

Looking forward to playing some more dungeons and sPvP/WvWvW PvP alongside you.

I joined this guild about two weeks ago, and this far, I’m really enjoying the time spent with theese people, both in-game and on teamspeak.

When I got this game, it was fun. But with a Guild, especially as social as The Conclave, i found my the time in front of the computer flying away. A good mixture between seriousness and hilarity!

Besides, you are a great addition to the guild, setting up events in the first week is something I appreciate greatly.

I can honestly say i had muscle pain after first few days in the guild, sitting on TS with them every evening, i laughed so much its not even normal.
They made me like WvWvW, i didnt even join it for the monthly achievement before i went to some of the guild events in there, now i cant wait to do some WvWvW with the guild. They are always there to help with and explain things you dont understand about the game yet. They are very very easy to be around, very funny, friendly and they way they organise their events and guild as a whole is just supreme, i love it. I could not be happier with my decision to join The Conclave.
