Guild Wars 2

Hello all!

I’m looking for a casual guild to join, now that I’m getting to some of the harder content of the game. I’ve been played Guild Wars for a long time, but now that I am in law school I find that my time to do anything other than read is designated to the weekend hours. Please read below for a little about me and what I am looking for in a guild. I’m a 24 year-old law student, just starting my last year of law school. On top of all that, I work during the week, and am in a long-term relationship, so I don’t necessarily have as much time to devote to any game as I’d really like to. I’m really looking for a group of people that don’t expect me to log in everyday – that’s an impossibility. I’m active when I can be active, but there are times where I have to disappear for weeks at a time.

There is nothing I like more in life than laughing. I love to joke around, and I can be downright quirky, so any guild I’m part of has to have a good sense of humor! That being said, I am really looking for a group of mature, respectful people.

Size doesn’t really matter to me – it’s the quality that I’m really interested in.

Lastly, and maybe most importantly, I’m looking for patience. I’ve never been a hardcore gamer, so there are some things that take me a little while to get down. I can take criticism, don’t get me wrong, but at the end of the day I am looking for a group that will help me, as opposed to just telling me how stupid I am and using me as an “example” for why girls shouldn’t play video games. (Yes, this has happened before…)

Off My [Meds] is a casual guild based in Ferguson’s Crossing (US) server.

Overview:
- free Ventrilo access
- adult environment
- experienced leadership
- no participation requirements
- no gold / item donation requirements

The guild rules are simple:
- no discrimination of any kind
- do not ruin the gaming experience of others
- do not use guild resources for personal profit
- no scamming, botting, etc in violation of the TOS

We are all about enjoying a mature adult environment without drama or the ego-stroking nonsense. 18+ only, but most are in their 20’s and 30’s. We like to laugh and have a good time on Ventrilo and help each other with whatever the flavor of the day is: PvE, PvP, WvW, whatever.

We are all working class adults and understand that the game will always be secondary to real life obligations. There will never be any requirements to be online or participate in anything you do not wish to do. Need a month off for a business trip? Not a problem, we understand and you’ll have a warm welcome upon your return.

Ventrilo provided to all members for free. We have owned our own ventrilo server since the first GW.

I lead the guild with my wife and have been in leadership positions of large and small guilds in GW, WoW and various other MMOs throughout the years. Our current officers have been with us for several years and are straightforward and honest. This means there is a stable environment with no internal power struggle or mixed messages for you to worry about. I have a great deal of conflict-resolution experience and making sure the guild is a positive experience for all members is a top priority.
