Hello,
Fort Aspenwood(NA) is currently ranked 8th and in the Tier 3 bracket. This is our 10th week in T3 despite being greatly outnumbered by opposition servers. Our great resolve led to many great guilds joining FA, greatly strengthening our NA east coast and Oceanic presence.

We have already experienced great synergy between old and new guilds on FA and believe we have what it takes to move to the next level of competition. However, before free transfers expire we would like to strengthen the following time slots with guilds and/or players: Asia primetime, Euro primetime, and to a lesser extent NA west coast primetime. If you are looking for a receptive home with little to no drama or stress and would like to help us fill these time slots, then please consider FA as your final destination.

Whether we fill these times or not, whether we win or lose, FA will continue to fight hard and continue to have a blast doing what we do best.

FA at a Glance:

• Has a very strong core of guilds that are ready and willing to work with anyone who makes an effort to improve WvW on FA. Any new players should have no problem finding a home among these guilds.
• FA experiences short to no que times. There is never a que on all four maps(other than most resets) and if there is a que, it is generally less than 5 minutes. There will be no que during the above mentioned time slots.
• An active FA community website keeps people in contact with each other in all aspects of the game, especially WvW.
• A 350 slot community teamspeak3 server set up with private channels for every guild as well as a channel for each map. Use of the community TS3 server has risen drastically in recent weeks.
• Guilds work independently and together informally through Teamspeak, the website, and in-game messages no matter how big or small the guilds. The only alliance we need on Fort Aspenwood, is Fort Aspenwood as a whole.
• At the end of the day, we all have a great time in WvW.

As one of FA’s most bitter opponents, I have to say that anyone shifting there looking for a great WvW experience will not be disappointed. They’re really well organized and putting in work across all timezones.

I’ve been able to tell how hungry y’all are over the last week, undoubtedly a server that’s going places in WvW. Props where it’s due fellas, kill ya later.

FA has been achieving some great things lately, and not solely due to some guilds transferring here.

What makes FA great? Communication, coordination, and respect. Our guilds work together. We believe in team work and self reliance.

Very excited for our future in WvW.

Fort Aspenwood is one of the best servers to transfer to right now. Here’s a few good things I like about the server.
1. Little to no ques, except in EB/Home BL at NA primetime with a 10 min que MAX.
2. Strong core of big WvW guilds, with a WIDE variety of small tactical strike guilds who will take out all the camps and do the good work to back up big guilds.
3. Amazing server website, Fort-Aspenwood.com, very active and used by almost all the members of the FA WvW community.
4. Very nice people. Many servers(cough maguuma) will get mad about guilds transferring to their server. Here in Fort Aspenwood everyone respects each other, and you will find a warm welcome upon transferring.
5.Very consistent. 10 weeks in tier 3, despite all odds. Only now do we have the numbers to win tier 3, and we will go much farther from here on.

As an inhabitant of this server I have to agree with all that has been previously said and add a few other things:
1. We not only respect eachother but we also respect our enemies. We don’t make fun of the fallen.
2. Due to lack of numbers we learned to fight using the Guerrilla Warfare style (Google it if you wanna know more). Now our numbers have increased and this previous experience has now allowed us to put together an army to be feared and respected (no mindless zergs).
3. Cooperation (this has been said before, but there is just too much of it to have it listed only once).

If you are new to GW2 and are still undecided which server to go, look no further, FA is your safest choice.

If you are looking for a new home, come to FA, we will have you under our wing and make you feel all comfy and taken care of.

Thank you for the post. Its too bad not every world can have the exact same population, but I think its safe to say we are all able to find good fights out in WvW and that is most important.

FA, I don’t think you need anymore people. From what I’ve heard you’ve had a 24/7 queue on all BL and EB.

Not even close. The only time we get close to a queue on all BL’s and EB is on reset and maybe Saturday night N/A primetime and even then we haven’t queued all 4 maps that I know of. I haven’t had a queue on any map since Saturday night, but I don’t start playing until around 11 pm PST.

If that were the case we wouldn’t be asking for more people. Anyway we still need a larger pop outside of NA prime time.

You shouldn’t believe everything you hear. That is 100% false. During late Asia time zones and through Euro time zone we are still in need of guilds.

For T3 our coverage is pretty kitten good, but the general consensus is that we would like to take a dip in T2 and for that we need to fill up those weaker spots.

Ahh, thanks for the clarification. But as of right now, considering how badly you’re beating us and DB, I think you’re fine on people. But getting more for T2, that I have no problems with, as we all know you’re going up there probably.

well, there was those weeks where CD did that to us,because u had the numbers and we didn’t.WE were outmanned nonstop in EB and werent even able to touch your BL.Yes, we got transfers and just saying they are not huge guilds, but they are skilled and love strategies. But what kitten with the transfers was a big morale boost. Evenour guild has more people online as it is exciting.
Communication between guilds has gotten much better and i love working with them.
I understand that CD is not used to it anymore as after TC left u guys started to rule the whole tier. U even threatened us with trying to push us out of T3 which u didnt accomplish as FA is known for fighting hard. I wish we all could get along and it would be great to have less hate between the servers.

I wasn’t on the forums for that ‘push you out of the tier’ thing. Though from the way it looks, you’re pushing yourselves out of the tier, sort to speak. XD

Did you think we might wanna go to T2? Either way I have had a lot of fun fighting CD, but we want more round the clock coverage to be competitive in higher tiers.

Everyone just needs to simmah…down…nuhw. This is the FA recruitment thread. We can discuss these things on the CD/DB/FA thread, which has been lagging recently anyways and could use this little jolt of energy.

..and as of right now all servers are listed as Very High, plenty of room for everyone and their friends!

As a guild leader who left IoJ for FA ill admit that I had some reservations about moveing because there was some bad blood between Primordial Dragons and Fort Aspeenwood but when we did make the switch we were welcomed with open arms. Any animosity between us just vanished, the second Drgn step onto FA bl as defenders instead of invaders the commanders whispered me and got me up to speed on the current situation/tactics were. The transition to WvW from IoJ to FA was seamless…honestly the worst part about transfering to FA is that I still get PMs from people welcoming us to the server xD
