Who we are
Our guild, Alpharius [Alph], is a mature membership (with many members having families and other commitments), modestly sized, International (but Australian-based) and friendly style guild. We would welcome your membership should you decide to transfer to Fissure of Woe.

We are actively looking for new members — whether resulting from transfers during the current window of opportunity, entirely new players to the game, or players simply looking for a different guild — who are able to keep it positive, be civil and polite, who try to refrain from profanity and insults, who will represent the guild in a positive manner (including giving helpful feedback, and suggestions on what to spend guild points on), who will generally say hello to fellow guild members, who like to help guild mates if practicable, and who have fun!

The current membership ranges from casual and occasional, to frequent and experienced; from folks just starting out, to higher levels. We’re happy to welcome new players and old alike.

What we do, and who we’re looking for in the coming month
In game, we focus on both PvE and WvW.

For PvE, we’re presently interested in:

• lower PvE levels to adventure with other characters, do personal story elements, map hearts, skill points, and vistas, group events, living story elements in Flame and Frost, and be sociable. Perhaps you have an alternate you want to level up, or perhaps you’re just starting out? We’d be happy to have you either way.
• higher PvE levels for dungeoneering (end game content, etc.), and those who are willing to help and give advice and guidance to lower level characters across the playing map, including tougher meta events.

For WvW, we’re currently looking for:

• new players to complement and enhance our WvW presence — we’re very happy to show new players around and help them out without expecting them to know everything instantly;
• players to help us outside of our Australian-based peak times — EU and NA players would be a huge asset;
• experienced players to join our team that already includes a commander and many experienced high level players — perhaps you’d be willing to transfer from a higher tier to Fissure of Woe that currently sits in EU Tier 9? Our play style will no doubt be quite different to higher tiers, and there’s NEVER been a queue whilst I’ve been a member of this server. We could use your help in Tier 9!
