Salutations GWII players!

I wasn’t very keen on the idea of posting on the GWII forums to look for a guild, and although I’ve been doing research for potential guilds, it’s a little difficult as not all guilds post on the web. So I felt as though it might be a good idea to post here as well as continue my research…

A friend and I are looking to represent a new guild as ours has grown low in active members. There is also the potential of having others from our old guild join with us, but that’s up in the air. The story behind looking for a new guild is a long, drama-filled one so that’s a telling for another time. Basically, a few of us are tired of drama and people loosely using the term “tight-knit family guild” – not to mention half of our player base went back to WoW leaving the rest of us on GWII. My friend and I are pretty much the only true active members now despite years of playing with one another. Suffice to say we both agree that it’s become boring and lonely without others to talk to, as well as becoming tired of trying to hold the group together. ):

Looking for -

~ casual to semi-hardcore PvX
~ a larger, active player base (fell in love with a few smaller guilds but we need the larger player base for dungeons etc.)
~ members that might be on at all times of the day
~ I’m personally questing diligently for a legendary and my friend for whatever he’s into (he’s an alt junky) would love to have a guild that offers help with that (ex. guild banners, others that might be farming karma, dungeons, etc.)
~a guild that doesn’t loosely use the term “family guild”
~casual, friendly, and easy-going but still has the drive and heart of a true gamer
~free brownies on Fridays
~voice chat

Might be a long list but when you’re looking for that perfect guild, there’s no need to settle.

Who we are -

~ super friendly, easy-going, and love to help others – we also actively participate in PvP, WvWvW, dungeons, farming, etc.
~ active loyal membership (aka we’re not going to guild jump lol)
~ I’m a lvl 80 Warrior currently questing for legendary
~ My friend, being the alt junky he is, currently has two lvl 80’s and a third in it’s 50’s.

I’m not sure what else to say :U Guess it’s time to break out the dance moves. /dance

We are:

- PvX (mostly WvW and dungeons, but we do it all)
- We have daily events and a weekly super event.
- Community is our biggest focus.
- We have altaholics, map completion zergs, jumping puzzle nights, legendary grinds… really, there’s nothing we don’t do.
- Steady flow of members (10-20 on at all times, not 40 on only for 3 hours).
- Semi-hardcore (quality players but no mandatory events).
- Actually drama-free (ask any guildie!)
- We do almost everything together!

We are definitely a family guild and I while I can provide several examples of how that is so, I’ll focus on something that happened last night.

One of our Jadites was exploring Diessa Plateau and became frustrated with the wall area that involved not only a jumping puzzle but also a skill point and a vista with mobs along the path.

The Jadite mentioned his goal in /g chat and while he didn’t request any help, I thought I’d pop over there to see if I could help. When I showed up he was actually halfway to the end when he fell to to his death and waypointed.

As I went to meet him, 3 other Jadites appeared one-by-one and had shown up for no other reason but to help their fellow Jadite accomplish his goal. So 1 Jadite turned into a full party and we began exploring/enjoying Diessa Plateau together. I won a gold at the cow catapult!

Jaded meets all of your looking for bullets as long as the brownies can be alternated out with pie or cookies Many of us are after our legendaries, dungeons are run every night, we are confirmed alt-o-holics, and we have a blast in WvW jumping puzzles.. the list goes on and on. Jaded[Jade] on Darkhaven is recruiting active, friendly, and mature members and there is no application process. We are a family-style guild looking to form long-term friendships through PvE and PvP.
