I’m a very skill-oriented gamer who loves endlessly improving and reprogramming my own skills.

INTENTIONS
sPvP - I intend to play 5v5 sPvP for years and wish to have regular friends/guildies to play with. I do not seek world championship titles, but I do seek to endlessly improve over time. Improving is how I have fun. I prefer improvement leading to victory, rather than victory leading to improvement.

PvE - I intend to pursue interesting and challenging tasks that force me to improve to succeed. Solo’ing bosses or otherwise difficult monsters was a favorite activity in the beta. I intend to play the hardest dungeons and I want to not only succeed, but to overwhelmingly succeed. Not for rewards, but for satisfaction.

I also intend to participate in, or organize, self-imposed restrictions, either to increase the challenge, or to create a scenario that needs to be creatively and skillfully solved. Such as playing through a particular dungeon with 5 of 1 class, or restricting certain weaponsets.

HISTORY
I’m a video game designer and programmer, learning to program on my own.
I frequently play skill-based games such as GW1, StarCraft 2, Team Fortress 2, Monster Hunter, and Demon’s Souls, where I exercise all that I described in the sections above.

I achieved rank 5 gladiator in Guild Wars 1, mostly through Team Arena and playing every build that didn’t have an interrupt. I enjoyed the small-scale battles more than HA and GvG. I also loved Costume Battles and Dragon Arena.

I earned 50/50 and GWAMM too, but I much prefer the PvP in GW1

PROFESSION INTERESTS
PvE/WvW - I made it to level 43 with a warrior, but hated PvE warrior against anything that wasn’t a boss, stopped playing, and now I’m back with a new Ele

sPvP - Warrior and Ele. I won’t be PvPing with ele until I’m more intimate with their skills and attunement juggling, and I might give up on warrior and focus entirely on ele for the immediate future, but I will expand my professions more with time.

http://www.ehj-guild.com opened recruitment yesterday and we are on Northern Shiverpeaks. We do not mass recruit and focus on the PVP part of the game. We dont care about playtime but we care about the player himself, pretty much we want to do as much as we can with the time we have, regardless of how much time we do have.
