Go Rin No Sho was formed with the intent of progressing to World of Warcrafts ‘End-Game’ raids about 6 months into The Burning Crusade.
The guild is named after the book Go Rin No Sho (A Book of Five Rings) written in 1645 by Miyamoto Musashi, said to be the greatest swordsman that ever lived, who was never defeated in any duel from the age of 12 until he died in his sixties! This is his book of strategy. I read & studied this book a long time ago, and it struck me as a good name for a guild. We wanted to move forwards in this game and see the ‘end-game’ content, and that will take some strategy and intent.

Go Rin No Sho will be partaking in PvE, PvP and WvWvW in Guild Wars 2, and will schedule sessions ahead of time on our Calendar/Events Manager for members to sign up.
Code of Conduct:
- Strive to treat all other players as you wish to be treated.
- Racism, sexism, bigotry, or threats towards another person are not tolerated.
- Do not harass, taunt, bother, stalk, or otherwise grief other players.
- Do not play unethically: no cheating, hacking, gold-selling, botting, griefing etc.
- Do not beg. Very little is more irritating than getting asked for money, items, etc. in a game.
Remember, any time you’re interacting with other players, you are a representative of the guild. Please behave how you would want our guild remembered. We want this guild to be seen as a home for good, helpful, active players, and to establish a reputation as a quality guild for other players to join.
Forums, Community & VOIP
All important news about the guild is posted on the guild forum, so you should to visit them regularly. We also have a ‘facebook’ like Community section, with events, status updates, videos and other information. In addition we have a ventrilo server for our guild members to use 24/7.
No Drama
We have a strict policy about people causing drama in game, on our forums or anywhere else associated with our guild. Anyone who whines, flames, begs, causes any tension or offense or brings the good name of Go Rin No Sho into disrepute will be warned and if serious enough removed from the guild. We all enjoy having a laugh but there are limits to what is acceptable. Think before you speak or make a post and use common sense.
