About Us: We are a former professional CS organization. Our history as an organization runs deep and we have been alive since 1999. We are a United States based organization that currently supports Guild Wars 2, Battlefield 3, CS: GO, Diablo 3, DOTA 2, League of Legends, In 2009 we were sponsored by Gigabyte (the computer hardware manufacturer) for LAN events and certain hardware; currently we are sponsored by NZXT (computer hardware manufacturer) Xtreme 360, and Purevoice. Infamy Gaming will be hitting Guild Wars 2 hard at launch and will be looking to recruit public/casual players as well as PvP/hardcore players to fill it’s guild ranks and help us become a top guild contender on our server of choice.
We bring to you two amazing sponsors with an over 150 slot Teamspeak server, a fully customized website and forums, and a huge group of professional and public gamers that love to have a good time. Not only can you play GW2 with us, we offer a wide variety of games that we’ve picked up for both public and competitive play that anyone can join up for. Not very good at MMO’s but loved to play them and want to get better? Not a problem with us; although we intend to be a top renown guild in GW2, we will take the time to help players build upon their skills and jump to greater heights with us as gamers. Whether it be casual PvE players looking to do some awesome PvE events and kill some world bosses, or hardcore PvP players looking to be at the top in both sPvP (Structured PvP) and WvW (World vs World) PvP, Infamy Gaming is recruiting on all fronts and looking for all types of players!
What We’re Looking For:
WvW – We are looking for team oriented players, with great communication skills, who are willing to put forth dedication to playing and learning the strategy and tactics behind WvW to compete with other servers. Infamy will be striving to be known as a figurehead Guild of our server. If you want to be part of an organized Guild who apply themselves to GW2 and its community both in and out of game, and one that will be looked at as a driving force for the server we play on, we want you to apply for our WvW Division!
sPvP – Want to be part of Guild Wars 2’s competitive E-Sport community? There’s already a great number of teams coming together to bring GW2 into the E-Sport light, and Infamy Gaming as a competitive organization is proud to be a part of that community. Our sPvP team will have daily scheduled practices, and will be expected to participate in all of the major tournaments in GW2 held by Arenanet and player run alike. We are looking for individuals who consider themselves well versed in sPvP maps and tactics, who understand their class and role within structured arena matches, and is looking to play for a top team in a top PvP Guild. sPvP applicants must be able to dedicate themselves to practice times, and getting better as a team in an organized, team oriented atmosphere that also loves to have fun while winning.
Small Groups – Are you a small group looking for a new home before launch? Have a group of friends who are all planning on playing the game, but don’t have a Guild or don’t want to create one to call home? IG (Infamy Gaming) is looking to recruit you and all of your friends If you think you and your group fits the criteria mentioned above and below
PvP is a big focus for our core in Infamy Gaming. We are competitive and play to win. If you can’t follow common sense instructions, or play as part of a team then don’t apply. While not being completely dedicated to PvP as to enjoy all aspects of the game for and with our members, both WvW and sPvP will be a big focus for a lot of our players; if you intend to apply for PvP purposes please be aware that we will expect you to contribute time and effort to our PvP groups! We take PvP seriously, even when not playing in ‘premades’, we expect you who apply to be ready to uphold the Infamy name even when solo queuing or playing out in the World vs World zones by yourself. This does not mean win at all costs every single time, but it does mean you are upheld to the same standards as if you were in a premade of our own guild.
