Guild Wars 2

Me and my guild (only about 10 of us) were really looking forward to guild missions……..only to find out it will be months if not a year before we can actually do them. The amount of influence needed just for the missions not to mention the upgrades you need in each category just to be able to have the option to get them is completely ridiculous(30k just for the first tier!? most we’ve ever had at once was 10k and it took 3 months to get). The amount needed punishes the smaller more casual guilds and makes a part of the game almost exclusive to large guilds or extremely active smaller guilds, so we basically have 3 options, merge with another guild which basically defeats the purpose of making your own guild, or save up for months on end, or spend 60g on the banquets from the guild promoter. I doubt we are the only people that feel like the price needs lowered a ton

My guild has around 20 members in it right now and we earn about 10k influence per week. It was a bit disheartening at first to see how much is needed to unlock guild missions but even though we can’t start guild bounties today (or probably another month or two if we don’t buy influence – we’re researching AoW 3 right now), we have a goal to work towards, together.

I highly doubt that they will make guild missions cost less, ever. It will be more of an uphill battle for small guilds going forward so if we want to stay small, I think we’ll need to accept that it will take more work to keep them going as we intended. Or, we can be absorbed into larger guilds but eh, I don’t think my ego would allow that :P
