Introduction
Kaineng Academy (or [KA]) is a new guild, focused on introducing players to World versus World. Our goal is to offer a friendly and helpful environment where players are not afraid to make mistakes – for us, it’s the effort that counts. While the guild’s focus lies on (getting people more familiar with) WvW, the guild also hosts various contests and events (with prizes!) from time to time.
Of course you don’t have to be new at WvW to join the Academy – experienced players are more than welcome as well. You’ll probably pick up a thing or two over time as well!
What we have to offer
There are many different things making the Academy worthwhile. Not just because of the new friends you’ll make, but also because of opportunities we provide:
- Participate in Guild Contests to win gold, special titles and more. For example: we currently host a guild emblem design contest.
- Frequent guild events. Not only WvW events like Havoc groups, but also Guild Missions or our own Jumping Puzzle Races (with prizes), just to name a few.
- A forum and our own Teamspeak channel on the Kaineng TS3 server.
- If you’re with us for a short while, we fully subsidize a piece of Guild Armor.
- You can join KA alongside a PvE guild – we only expect you to represent in World v. World. We enjoy your company during PvE play too, though!
- Structured, personal training for WvW.
- The guild has already been building upgrades for nearly a month.
What we’re looking for
Right now, we’re looking for our initial members. If you’re interested in WvW, regardless of your skill level, we’d love to have you. Even if you never played it before – we’ll help you ease in. Joining does imply you want to improve: as mentioned in the introduction, that’s our focus.
Finally we ask of you to try to be helpful and to represent us while you’re in WvW. Whether you represent in PvE is fully up to you, but we’d love to see that!
