Guild Wars 2

I’m wondering if there are any smallish guilds with room for new members..willing to accept and include a new member? I’ve been into a lot of guilds, most were large (400+), and they kept trying to grow but would ignore the new ppl that weren’t already their close friends.

I understand why, but I’d love to be given the chance to make some friends here since my friends from wow didn’t want to come to gw2. Been playing 3 months, loving it

Well, I’m in a small guild of like 3 people in Ehmry Bay and we prefer PvE and I’m on almost every night. But I’d also understand if you’d prefer to find a guild in your server first to save on transferring. (we’re mainly looking for people on our server because our long term goal is to get guild missions, but we wouldn’t mind people coming to hang out)

Not sure if you already got the hits you’re interested in, but your attitude and general style indicates that you’d be a good fit for [VZ]. The link to the thread is in my signature, but we are a 40-50 user casual-but-very-talented guild on Stormbluff Isle that will have guild missions in about a week, that’s filled with all people who are friendly with each other, and we specifically are looking for friends, not just random people we don’t want to know. I lead in WvW nightly, and we do dungeons and all manner of high end PvE. I’m also Fractal level 50 if that sort of thing interests you, and I’m always willing to do dungeons. We don’t use a website or the like because we’re trying to be as down-to-earth as possible, and make people feel like they’re not obligated to do things they don’t want to do just to be a part of the guild.

We’ve got a Small/Medium sized guild on Darkhaven called Order of Shadows that is an 18+ guild mostly comprised of family and friends, making it a very tight knit community that thrives on helping each other out and enjoying the game together. We’d be more than happy to welcome you to our group as well!

While we mostly focus on PvE, we do run events every week, everything from wvw, dungeons, fractals and once guild missions are in we’ll be scheduling those as well. Hi im Thorin from guild [PPP] Pro Power Players. We are a small guild of around 17 members on the northern shiverpeaks server. We play some of all aspects of the game. Contrary to the guild name we are a laid back fun oriented group. The majority of our group is 20+ and we love to cut up and make new friends. Experience is not a requirement because we enjoy helping each other out and helping new members learn the game and level up. The name of our guild is Just Us Grown Ups or [JUGs] and we could be just the guild you’re looking for.

We are a very friendly, very casual adult guild who value community above anything else. Everyone in the guild has a great relationship with each other and people are always helping each other out—provided they have the free time..

We are a small (close to 45 members)—but growing—casual, guild catering to the 30+ crowd. We are very laid back and just want to game, hang out and avoid drama.

Our guild does have an age requirement in place to keep the environment mature; almost all of our members are men and women between the ages of 30-55. We do allow people 25-30 to apply but their admission must be voted on.

We are primarily a PvE guild but some of us also jump into the WvW realms every now and then.

Our guild is happy to take in members, regardless of experience level. If you want to learn, we’ll answer your questions; if you have knowledge to pass on, we’ll listen.

We’re small at the moment, but have been averaging about two new players a day. To be honest, I’d prefer a small guild full of tight-knit members as opposed to a large guild that’s basically comprised of small cliques.

The guild is run with a ‘hands-off’ approach and most matters in the guild are handled by vote. We don’t make demands or requirements other that you have a good time when you’re with us.

All of us have real lives that come first and no one’s going to pressure you in any way to spend more time with the guild than you can.

I created the guild so there would be a good gaming environment free of the tension and drama of the hardcore guilds which are usually comprised of younger players.

We’re on the Jade Quarry server so a transfer, unfortunately, would be necessary if you’d like to join us. You can, however, feel free to try us out as a guest. You could join our guild, share in our guild chat channel, run dungeons with us, talk to us on our Ventrilo server, and see what we’re like—the only thing you wouldn’t be able to do is participate in WvW combat with us. It’s like ‘leasing with the option to buy.’

We have both Ventrilo and Mumble voice servers. We also have a feature-rich website where you can create and co-ordinate events that other members can sign up for.

I saw your post looking for a friendly, casual, small close knit and mature guild and I wanted to contact you about looking into our guild, The Unholy Mackerels!
If you want to try out the server, you can join at the link below and guest to our server to try it out, before you move, we have a 1 month policy of letting people guest over for up to a month, before deciding.
We are a PvX guild with a pride in respecting others, no matter their play style or play level. We also are tight knit and enjoy getting to know one another through activities such as Dungeons, WvW, Fractals, sPvP, or partying up in PvE to do Orr events together, dragons, and even helping with lvling main characters and alts.
We currently run weekly scheduled WvW, Dungeons, and Fractals and do any of the above throughout the week off schedule. There is always something going on daily, usually any time after 6pm EST during the weekdays and any time during the weekends.
The Unholy Mackerels has a core group of active members and we are building upon that, however doing so slowly so we get to know each and every one. We currently are a medium size guild with 43 members and about 20 of them are active daily, consisting of mostly NA members and a few AUS.
We are quite the social guild through teamspeak and guild chat. We use teamspeak but do not require it. Often our newer members prefer to listen in on the first few days and talk when they feel comfortable, which usually they talk within the first 10 minutes once they realize how easy going everyone is.
You can find us on the Fort Aspenwood server. A server that has quite a busy PvE population in maps, it’s own friendly community forums for all things GW2, it’s own community teamspeak for WvW where everyone is welcome, and a server that enjoys working together through good communication while playing to have fun.
Being a growing gaming community, we also play many other games together as a guild and recently started a new weekly event, TF2sdays. Have no fear though as Guild Wars 2 has been our focus since beta and will continue to be for quite some time.

Hi! I would like to let you know about our new guild, Escape From LA [EfLA].
Our goal of members: around 50 people most likely 15-30 active during certain times.
Most of the people that have joined would like a smaller guild, which feels more like a family than another friend list that you did not create. Our core members that helped start the guild are all mature players. Most of them have run several dungeon paths or are Dungeon Masters. Dungeons we run everyday: Arah and Fractals. Some of our other favorites are CoE, SE, TA… well pretty much everything but the farming AC and CoF.

We are a fairly new guild with veteran players. The guild leaders have bought influence and currently building Art of War V on Maguuma. Our guild is also being built on Yak’s Bend for Guild Missions. We do not have a rep policy, we feel people need a reason to rep rather than it be a requirement. You will notice some players are active in other guilds at times, but when they run with us they rep us. I want this to be a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Times people play are a wide range; few of us are on during the day (EST: GMT -5) Most of our players are online later in the evening/after work/dinner. I would say 6pm-3am EST.
