Guild Wars 2

Hi there,

Thank you for taking time to read my post. I am currently on Blackgate…..however I’d transfer for the right guild. I’m looking for a close knit guild that requires 100% representation and enjoys socializing and doing things together, active forum site and voice comms (anything but Raidcall as it’s junk lol).

I was an officer in my forum guild and left due to my decisions being underminded. Needless to say I’m looking for a guild that respects it’s members.

I like WvW and PvE. Haven’t done much sPvP. But I am fairly open minded.

I’m social, loyal, dedicated, helpful & I play daily for extended amounts of time.

Just about everything that you stand for fits perfectly with VZ, though we don’t use a website because I don’t like forcing users to post or use on-site applications or basically jump through hoops to enjoy in-game content. We also PvE a lot more than we WvW, though we definitely do both. I’m putting this at the beginning of my post in case any of it is a deal-breaker for you, and I want you to be aware.

Anyway, VZ is a medium-sized PvX guild on the Stormbluff Isle server. We run weekly guild bounties, run every dungeon in-game based on our mood at the highest possible skill-level (we have many dungeon masters), run L48 FotM, and WvW every so often based on our mood. Essentially, the guild’s activities are based around what the players feel like doing, so in that sense it’s casual, yet hardcore as well because we insist on being excellent players in all things we do. We’re looking for cool people willing to chat, enjoy themselves, be a little proactive, represent, and in general just be a good friend. Judging from your post, this sounds like a good fit for you, but you are the final judge of that. If you’d like more details about the guild, you can check the link in my signature, as it covers pretty much everything. Having people undermine your decisions sucks, and you wouldn’t have that problem in VZ if you ascended in the ranks. You also wouldn’t be forced to change servers right away unless you wanted to; you are more than welcome to run with us and represent and get a feel for it first!

We have a medium sized guild on Darkhaven called Order of Shadows that is an 18+ guild mostly comprised of family and friends, making it a very tight knit community that thrives on helping each other out and enjoying the game together. We’d be more than happy to welcome you to our family as well!

We have just over 40 members with about 20 or so active regularly. We have a mix of vets and newer players alike, so if you’re ever looking for company leveling/questing, we have people of all different levels.

While we mostly focus on PvE, we do run events every week, everything from wvw, dungeons, fractals and we just unlocked the first guild missions and we’ll be scheduling those as well. We mostly run off of CST, however we have a large mix of time zones in the guild itself as well. Your site shows little to no activity. Months pass between posts. I wouldn’t direct people there as it shows your guild is dead.

Thanks but if you read my post I listed forum website as a requirement. You can have one and not require an application to join. It’s essential for information sharing, scheduling events & advertisement about the guild. But thanks for contacting me.

Hello I wanted to say hi to you and see if you wanted to talk about a possible home for you with our guild. We are on Sea of Sorrows and we are currently developing the guild and an alliance with a few other guilds. we are in to everything (pvp,pve,wvw,dungeons,fractals,jumping) we do run guild missions with the alliance every sat at around between 8 and 10pm and we are currently building up to be able to run different types. we are most active in the evenings and are looking for active members to join our family. we do have a vent server and a website but changing website to be an alliance site. if you would like to talk about joining please pm me in game or leave a msg here thanks for your time.

we do require representation but in our alliance every member is a member of the other guilds as well so it makes it easy to switch from guild to guild to do guild missions so it will be likely that there are members that dont rep on a reg basis pm me if you would like to discuss this thanks

What you’re seeing is what an unregistered user can see, simply because we don’t want our entire forums as a free viewing for the internet. It has our rules/regulations, and a little bit about us. Once you register you’ll see that people post daily on our site, and we have a lot of activity within our community for events and new ideas.

We may have what you are looking for. Not sure where you are from in the world and to our guild it doesn’t matter either. We have mainly oceanic members but we have a couple of members from the US and I would like to encourage more to join from that timezone as well.

In short we are PvE based but we like dungeon runs and basically helping each other out in game. We have Vent for events/dungeons and we have a separate guild forum website which is quite active and we encourge all members to join to keep in touch for announcements, events and getting to know other members etc.

It seems you already have alot of choice here, but I would really like you to still seriously consider joining us. We are a small guild and we don’t have big dreams of growing huge, but we do want to encourage down to earth, helpful and friendly members to join us and you sound like a perfect fit.

Hiya Dark Night,

I saw your post looking for a friendly family type guild and I wanted to contact you about looking into our guild, The Unholy Mackerels!

We are a PvX guild with a pride in respecting others, no matter their play style or play level. We also are tight knit and enjoy getting to know one another through activities such as Dungeons, WvW, Fractals, sPvP, or partying up in PvE to do Orr events together, dragons, and even helping with lvling main characters and alts.

We currently run weekly scheduled WvW, Dungeons, and Fractals and do any of the above throughout the week off schedule. There is always something going on daily, usually any time after 6pm EST during the weekdays and any time during the weekends.

The Unholy Mackerels has a core group of active members and we are building upon that, however doing so slowly so we get to know each and every one. We currently are a medium size guild with 50 members and about 20 of them are active daily, consisting of mostly NA members and a few AUS.

We are quite the social guild through teamspeak and guild chat. We use teamspeak but do not require it. Often our newer members prefer to listen in on the first few days and talk when they feel comfortable, which usually they talk within the first 10 minutes once they realize how easy going everyone is.

You can find us on the Fort Aspenwood server. A server that has quite a busy PvE population in maps, it’s own friendly community forums for all things GW2, it’s own community teamspeak for WvW where everyone is welcome, and a server that enjoys working together through good communication while playing to have fun.

Being a growing gaming community, we also play many other games together as a guild and recently started a new weekly event, TF2sdays. Have no fear though as Guild Wars 2 has been our focus since beta and will continue to be for quite some time.

We wouldn’t mind if you want to guest over and try out our guild before you move, we have a grace period giving the person 1 month to move over, while I am willing to do any amount of Cof runs it takes to help you get the money to transfer over if that is your wishes.
