Guild Wars 2

Hey guys,

The group of friends I started playing GW2 with has all but quit, with only two other people I know playing the game now. Therefore, I am looking for a guild to join.

Specifically, I’m looking for a small, close-knit, informal guild. Medium-sized guilds are acceptable if they have an informal “group of friends”-type atmosphere. I am basically an exclusive PvE player: I have almost no interest in WvW and have mostly lost interest in sPvP until more game modes get added to it or whatnot. I don’t care about guild upgrades, WvW prestige, commanders, or anything else—I’m in this because I want people to play with and talk to people in a relaxed, informal atmosphere.

That’s the big idea, and the most important factor in which guilds I’m interested in. If it comes down to this, I have a few other preferences:
- I’m on Stormbluff Isle right now. Willing to switch, but I have a small preference for guilds on this server.
- I am an NA player, so I can’t really join your guild if you’re EU. (I originally forgot to mention this; sorry!)
- I’d prefer a guild that uses Mumble over other VoIP clients (I actually have a Mumble server with some friends, if your guild is small enough and needs one). It’s okay with me if a guild has no VoIP client, but I’d rather not be expected to jump into a VoIP server while playing if it’s not a Mumble server.
- I don’t like websites, forums, and other out-of-game communication systems if they’re a requirement.
- I have no problem representing a guild almost exclusively, but I still am leery of 100% representation requirements.
- I prefer a guild which has some people who are pretty far into Fractals, as I do that a lot.

We are all working class and/or university students and/or have families to take care of. We are mainly American and Canadian time zones, but have a few Euros from England, Finland and other areas that came with us from Guild Wars(so International guild). We log on to have fun and relax, so I am guessing you would consider us a casual guild. We have people may do one or a mixture of all; Pve, Pvp, dungeons, and Wvw. We don’t want to make the game a job, because that not what games are for. We are slowly rebuilding the guild at this time. We are looking for people, willing to help us grow. We are friendly and will do what we can or when we can for others in the guild. We enjoy new people, thoughts and ideas. Each new person brings a special gift or unique quality to add to the guild. Red Haze [HAZE] is an upcoming semi-hardcore guild that is currently recruiting! We are primarily focused on dungeons/endgame content and also leveling up alts to participate in our guild events.
Few Requirements:
1. At least one level 80 with decent gear ( or in the process of improving it)
2. Be active and represent the guild at all times if possible
3. Experience and general knowledge of the game/endgame content.
4. Come to enjoy yourself but be prepared to get things done

ASq are a fun, friendly, relaxed & mature guild on the Gandara server. We are an English speaking guild, mostly European based at the moment with a couple of members in the EST time zone but would like to recruit members in all time-zones to support all players at all times.

We are currently a small player base especially following the unfortunate natural drop of initial players growing bored quickly of GW2 & becoming inactive but those of us that remain play regularly & we are looking for active & regular players to help our guild grow & progress in all areas of the game. We also welcome casual players & solo players that are looking for a relaxed place to chat & group as & when they feel for it. We fully appreciate & understand that life always comes first & this is just a game to have fun in & so anyone that has reached member rank or higher do not lose their guild status even if inactive for any period of time & this is something I would only be forced to consider if/when we ever reached the maximum cap of 500 members.

We organise regular dungeon/fractal runs (currently schedule 4 a week numbers permitting & further ad-hoc runs often occur through the week with a mix of guild/PuG as necessary at the moment) & monthly WvW runs (these will no doubt increase as the players require) & help each other as much as we can whenever & wherever needed.

We are happy for our members to multi-guild & also if they prefer, to primarily be based on another EU server & join up with us on dungeon runs (I believe we can also group on fractals if in an overflow).
