Guild Wars 2

Hi,

I’m a level 80 Condition based thief in the UK, been playing since day 1 (level 80 week 1) Got full exotic gear, aside from weapons / trinkets. Master leather worker on my main, and near master tailor on an alt (10 levels or so to go) My original guild moved servers a couple of months ago and I stuck behind, and made a small guild for me and a couple of friends to mess around in; but they’re barely on any more, and the less they play the less inclined I am to play.

I play on Far Shiverpeaks but would consider guesting / a server change later on.

Looking for a slightly larger, active, mature & fun guild that I can play with the majority of the time (will keep the old guild open, for when my friends do come on and such, which is rare.) I have work commitments and such, but can commit to a couple of nights a week for dungeons, so long as I know in advance.

Don’t want any massive / super elite guilds, just a friendly fairly numbered group of people who enjoy having fun and progressing in the game. The more social the better, and a group with a good sense of humor would be a massive plus. I split my game time between WvW / SPvP / general wandering / the odd dungeon, but due to a lack of people to dungeon with I’ve not experienced all the dungeons yet, so I’d appreciate a bit of patience with me while I find my feet in some of them!

I have read your post and wanted to reply and offer you a spot in our small cozy laid back guild, if you dont mind to change servers. You can try out the guild by guesting, which is free, before deciding on changing your home server.

We have members from Europe, the US, and other parts of the world.

We have 181 members atm, and we are steadily growing, but we
still maintain to keep the family feeling.

We have a mature member base, I would not mind taking a few
younger members, as long as it wont be the majority of our roster.

Although we are not huge, we have a very active group of people
now, we play every day and mostly play together in party.

We have weekly organized Guild Missions, WvW/PvP, Dungeon & FotM runs, and even Music Night, and our members do all those activities together with other guild members every day as well.

In 2003 a small group of friends founded CG to play casually and focus our time on one game. It soon took off into more then one game and developed into what we now call “Crimson Guards United” gaming. Guild Wars 2 was chosen for its impressive MMO game play style which sets itself apart from most MMO’s and as of right now we have been openly recruiting on Jade Quarry.

Guild Focus: Right now our main focus for the guild is PvE Dungeoning, Dailys, Monthlys, and Group Events. Once we recruit more members into CGU we will shift our focus from this to Guild WvW and the newly added Guild Missions. We know some members like to do Dungeons or just PvE in general more than doing WvW or PvP so now members are required to do one or the other. Here with CGU Gaming we believe in letting every member do what they enjoy in-game and we believe in-turn thats what makes the Guild better as a division.

Division Requirements :

So, we wanted to set up a strong division here on Guild Wars 2 and so far its on the right track. We are currently accepting all skills levels and character levels. Our only requirement is 16+ years of age, to keep drama out of our guild so every mature player can have a fun experience in our guild. To join our leadership you must show you will be active, show you have what it takes to lead, and be able to promote CGU. It won’t we easy to start off but the leadership positions may go fast. We usually let our current active members on Guildwars make the final decision who they want to represent them.

I am an officer and community lead for Afterlife Gaming

We are a pvp based guild and community spanning a few games including aion wow and gw2.

We have been around since 2009 where we formed in Aion on Telemachus and have had significant success in mmos since. We are purely pvp based.

As a semi hardcore to hardcore guild we have a good number of well skilled players and do have attendance requirements for wvw raiding if you are online.

We use teamspeak for comms and expect users to use this.

We run on Desolation Server Server which, although a high pop server, allows us to enter WvW nightly as a guild with little to no queuing time and co ordinate with our allies effectively.

In return we will provide a pvp community, wvw raids every night with experienced raid leads and well established allies.

Hi Willisium,

The name of our guild is Just Us Grown Ups or [JUGs] and, if you’re older than 25, we could be just the guild you’re looking for.

We are a very friendly, very casual adult guild who value community above anything else. Everyone in the guild has a great relationship with each other and people are always helping each other out—provided they have the free time..

We are a small—but growing (over 75 members)—guild catering to the 30+ crowd. We are very laid back and just want to game, hang out and avoid drama.Because we place such a high value on community, we will no longer be actively recruiting once we reach 100 members.

Our guild does have an age requirement in place to keep the environment mature; almost all of our members are men and women between the ages of 30-65. We do allow people 25-30 to join but they must fill out an application via our website.

We are primarily a PvE guild but some of us also jump into the WvW realms every now and then.

Our guild is happy to take in members, regardless of experience level. If you want to learn, we’ll answer your questions; if you have knowledge to pass on, we’ll listen.

We’re small at the moment, but have been averaging about two new players a day. To be honest, I’d prefer a small guild full of tight-knit members as opposed to a large guild that’s basically comprised of small cliques.

The guild is run with a ‘hands-off’ approach and most matters in the guild are handled by vote. We don’t make demands or requirements other that you have a good time when you’re with us.

In our opinion, a guild’s success is not due to its accomplishments, but of how much people enjoy being a part of it.

All of us have real lives that come first and no one’s going to pressure you in any way to spend more time with the guild than you can.

I created the guild so there would be a good gaming environment free of the tension and drama of the hardcore guilds which are usually comprised of younger players.

We’re on the Jade Quarry server so a transfer, unfortunately, would be necessary if you’d like to join us. You can, however, feel free to try us out as a guest. You could join our guild, share in our guild chat channel, run dungeons with us, talk to us on our Ventrilo server, and see what we’re like—the only thing you wouldn’t be able to do is participate in WvW combat with us. It’s like ‘leasing with the option to buy.’

We have both Ventrilo and Mumble voice servers. We also have a feature-rich website where you can create and co-ordinate events that other members can sign up for.
