Guild Wars 2

My first post wasn’t as detailed as it should be, so I am remaking this.

My history:

In GW1 I made a guild called Free Fame For Us[Fame], I built it with a bunch of no names low rankers and we became one of the top guilds for HoH, able to take the halls away from the Europeans on their prime time. Later we became top 50 GvG guild and was in an alliance with War Machine and a couple well known guilds. I left the game when they changed HoH to 6v6.

I was a semi-pro in Gears of War and Gears of War 2 with a team called Murder By Numbers. We won a couple online tournaments on GameBattles and went to a few MLGs.

I then moved on to Starcraft 2 and became a grandmaster on NA and a high master on KR, went to MLG Columbus 2011 and got thru 5 rounds before being knocked out.

What I am looking for:

I really would like a guild that has good communication, somewhat relaxed and know when to be serious. I don’t want drama or bullkitten.

I would like a small tightly knit guild somewhere around 20-50 players that has been around for a while so they don’t just disband after a couple weeks. I’ve been playing on and off but just haven’t committed into this game just because no one I knew played this game. Hopefully finding a guild will change that.

I’m looking for a guild that is willing to PvE, WvW, and sPvP using a voice chat system. Tho it may take me sometime to learn the skills before I will be comfortable to jump into sPvP. You can think of me as a new player at this point because I practically don’t know much of anything about this game other then some elements in PvE. I plan to eventually devote most of my time in WvW and sPvP after I’ve exhausted most of the PvE experience.

My guild, Writhe [WRTH] is recruiting. We currently have 19 members and have been an established gamer guild for over 4 years now. GW2 is our new home and we’re looking to add to our team!

We can help you out with learning the game and answering your questions. We use Raidcall for dungeon runs. A lot of spend time WvW and a few in sPvP. Currently trying to add more people we can do our guild missions.

NA Server is Darkhaven. A few are on other servers but its mostly Darkhaven.

Our guild has been inactive for a while but now we’ve decided to start over and revive it! We’re a really nice bunch of friends and I promise you that you will feel welcome the moment you join the guild. It’s family-like and no matter what interests in the game you have we will help you! Hey, GFever! Our guild may be a little casual for your tastes, but you never know. We’re primarily PvE and SPvP. We have a TS3 and there are some dedicated SPvPers in our guild [Ranks 30-40]. We’re definitely looking to expand our PvP presence, and even though you’re new to the game as an experienced gamer you may find it’s fun to leanr the ropes here and maybe help us expand as well.

We’re on Jade Quarry, the #1 WvW server, so it’s a good choice if you’re going to look for a large WvW guild as well.

Our guild is mostly PVE oriented, but our members do WvW and sPvP sometimes. We do voice chats on skype very often, especially when we are doing dungeon runs or guild bounty missions/training.
Currently we have 17 members, all of us came from another MMO game where we were either in the same guild or in an alliance, so we are quite an established group and will not disband just like that We’ve been playing together for more then 5 years, so we know each other pretty well. Our members are mature, social and always ready to help with whatever they can. We want to add more people to our group and build a good, stable and friendly community within the guild.

We have a core group of really experienced players, and we are always looking for more people that are willing to work with a team-first mentality, your gaming background seems you’d fit right in.

On the PvE side, we do weekly guild missions, and occasional dungeon runs.

There is a lot to our small guild but the main things that fits what you need is teamwork and commitment.

We are an adult, laid back community of gamers, that have enjoyed many kind of games over the years. We all are now spending a lot of time playing GW2, and would love to see some new members join us. We are slowly growing and you will usually see 3-4 of us on in the evenings. This is a no pressure guild, just fun.

We do a little of everything and are here to have a good time. We treat each other like family, and help out a fellow gamer as much as possible. We have members that love doing Fractals, WvW, and just running around PvE.

Guild Leader

Here is the info I said I’d send your way!!!

I have a guild on Sorrows Furnace called Wrath Incarnate (WIN). We are a medium sized guild with 95+ members that has a pretty close knit group of social players. We are more PvE and dungeon focused but when we do go into WvW we tend to do so as a guild. We do have most guild upgrades, guild bank and vent.

We have teams running Fractals frequently and are currently doing our best to get all interested guildies up to level 10 and beyond. We are also running Guild Bounties and will soon have other guild missions opened up.

We aren’t hardcore and don’t have any prerequisites to join other than be social, friendly and help out when you can. We are predominately NA players…a mix of east coast and west coast and are a mix of mostly mature gamers with lives outside the game.

We have had an influx of new members join who are new to the game, so sharing insight and helping out whenever we can is paramount!
