Guild Wars 2

Hi everyone! Loving the game and every corner of it!

I’m a 24 year old mature male.

USA, Eastern Time.
Character: Waynarr
Human Thief
Level: In twenties

I am on Blackgate but will happily transfer if I find a guild that really stands out to me. (As long as transfers remain free :P)

Now that I got the hang of things I would love to join an active guild.
I have had my share of guild experience in the past since the dawn of WoW (canceled) up to SWTOR (canceled). I played Guild Wars 1 as well but for some reason or other I just never dove as deep as I should have (life I guess) so I wasn’t in a guild.

Things I’m looking for:
-Active Guild, preferably with a really dedicated leader(s) and a nice website.
-Not a lot of obligations. Casual approach but with passion. (Doing things you volunteer for and when you are able to make it. Real life takes priority for me in any game, though I love my games!.)
-Maturity. I have had enough of trash talking kids and idiot adults in my time with Xbox Live and other MMO’s.
-Good mix of both males and females. Nothing sexist :P. I just have found through the years a good mix of genders helps bring more to a guild.
-Goes with being active….but please no guilds that will die two days after I join.
-Well established guilds that have migrated and/or have a branch for Guild Wars 2. (Not a must, but preferred.)
-I do appreciate and respect the rankings of guild members, just not when the regular members make the new recruits and newer members feel left out.
-Not being harassed outside of the game. (Yes this has happened to me)

Things I can offer:
-Good coordinator in groups.
-Voice when needed.
-Always willing to help, especially in this game with zone level caps and events.
-I love WvW for those in the guild who do to.
-Humor and open-minded. Not much surprises me and I am quite friendly.
-I love coming up with ideas for guild activities and events, and often will host them if asked. Creativity is my invisible middle name.

So….um….recruit me? Meanwhile I’ll be moving through the shadows and saving babies that aren’t evil. :P

I’m GM of Lil Ones [LO] on Ferguson’s Crossing. I’m a 35y/o gamer, father of a 6 month old, and respect every point you made in your list of things you’re looking for. They are many of the same reason I chose to create and build my own … I’ve done it before, many times, in many games. I set out to build a group of solid people who want a adult/mature group they could look forward to playing with.

I think LO would be a great fit for you, I get the immediate impression we’d get along based on your post. I like your offer to assist. A lot of effort goes into some of the organization of in-game guilds.

Well, I’d best be telling you about Aeterna on Ferguson’s Crossing. We were formed back in 2005 on Ragnarok Online where our focus was, and still is, on large scale pvp. We will strive to bring Ferguson’s Crossing to the top. Rather than a paragraph of text, I’ll attempt to address your points in turn.

-Though we don’t have a web site, we provide paid forums and a mumble server.
-We ask that our members represent the guild (rather than another) and have mumble for wvw.
-We have a wide age range, from a few late teens to a 60 year old. Wont guarantee no trash talking though it is all in good humor.
-Though we have a female presence, we’d like a more feminine feel to the guild.
-Highly active.
-Having been active since 2005, you can be sure that Aeterna wont disappear on you.
-Harassment. Well, cant say we’ve ever harassed anyone and would absolutely take a strong line on this.

Right Clique is always looking for members with like-minded play styles, you seem to want things from a guild and group that we ourselves wanted.

We’re small (around 10 players), but most of us have been playing together in various games for years. We’ve chosen Tarnished Coast for our server.

Now, we consider ourselves mature in the sense that we don’t fight over stupid things, we help members out when we can, we can admit mistakes and take responsibility…however we can get pretty idiotic sometimes, but it’s all in good adult fun. :P

Creators of eXtreme Nightmares is a large multi-gaming clan that is currently setting up a Guild Wars 2 department. We have a Steam group with over 50.000 members following us every day. Our goal is to set a name in this Guild Wars community as well.

We are currently looking for people to strengthen our team for Guild Wars 2. If you are looking for a small group (the Guild should have a member base of 50 to 75 members in the end) of players that want to have fun in every aspect of the game, then you are in the right topic. We want to do raids, dungeons, PvP, WvW and achieve to have our map complete. None of this will be on hardcore base, but on a very social and friendly base. Play the game when you have time, real life is also important. Of course you have to stay active within the Guild/Clan, but we do not ask from you to stay online 24/7.

We have set the follow requirements:

- Be active.
- Be mature!
- 18+ would be preferred, although you could join when you are younger, but act older.
- Check out the website/forum every once and a while.
- Be able to use TS3 with a working microphone.
- Be able to speak decent English.

What do we have to offer?
- A friendly and social Guild in the game Guild Wars.
- A membership of a clan that has a well-known name in the gaming world.
- A platform (website, forum, TS3 and Steam community) were you will find friendly people to play others games or just socialize with.
- A TS3 server always filled with people ready to socialize or play a game.

As last I would like to add that we have people from all over the world in the Clan. Both North and South America, Europe and even people from India. We don’t recruit on country, everyone is welcome.
