Guild Wars 2

Hello,

I am looking for a good small-medium sized guild. I’m looking for a guild that is actively having conversation in the guilds CHAT and not one that uses vents/mumbles etc. to communicate. My favorite fruits are strawberries. I’m also searching for one that is friendly and likes to joke around (not immature dirty jokes or cussing). If you actually read this tell me my favorite fruit, and if possible the guild size.

lol just wanted to participate. I am curious tho… why do you not like voice chat? Its a great way to get everyone communicating on a more personal and close level. I have been closer to my guildies than ever before since starting to use Voice chat more regularly.

I guess its just a personal issue, idk. I’ve always just enjoyed using the chat over actually talking.

Well im sure they are out there. Guilds that prefer to use chat than to talk, however the majority of them are going to want you to be able to at least log into thier voice chat to listen in. Especially with a game like GW2 where combat is so dynamic and stopping to type for a second will surely get you killed its much much easier and better for fast and coordinated communication to use voice chat.

Might wanna give it a try. You might find that you actually like it :P

I started out my gaming career refusing to use voice chat. I saw it exactly the same as talking on the phone with someone and i DESPISE the phone with a passion. But as i got a group of people together that i really enjoyed spending time with i realized its nothing like talking on the phone. Sure you still have sometimes that awkward silence, or you both try to speak at the same time. Its an adjustment but its well worth it in the end to be able to hear thier laugh, hear the silliness in thier voices. I honestly can never go back :P

I’m a huge fan of Mangoes, though apples and strawberries are pretty high on my list too.

My guild is called The Gryphons Aerie. We are a smaller, casual yet social, 18+ PvE/RP family on Tarnished Coast (some members also enjoy some WvsW now and then too). Currently, we have about 60 members. We know that RL comes first and stress that fact. We’ll still be there even if you can’t for a bit of time. We enjoy helping each other and doing things together when possible. All you have to do is ask if you need help with something and we’ll do our best to come to your aid.

There is also no requirement to be representing us at all times. It’s not our business to tell you who you can and cannot associate with; that choice is yours alone. All we ask is that you give us some time too. We do have a TeamSpeak 3 as well, but it’s use is on a purely optional basis. Most of our chatter is on the guild channel.

We invite you to visit our guild and talk with us either in game or on vent. What would it hurt? We are a mature group of people that enjoy playing MMOs and other games. We are all working class people and/or university students and/or have families to take care of. We are mainly North American times zones from one end to the other, but have a few Canadains, Euros from England, Finland and other areas that came with us from Guild Wars(so International guild). We log on to have fun and relax, so I am guessing you would consider us a casual guild. We have people may do one or a mixture of all; Pve, Pvp, dungeons, and Wvw. We will help and guide new players to the game and old players with what we can. We dont ask for special equipment for pvp, pve, and dungeons or build. We work with what you can bring. We don’t want to make the game a job, because that not what games are for. We are slowly rebuilding the guild at this time. We are looking for people, willing to help us grow. We are friendly and will do what we can or when we can for others in the guild. We enjoy new people, thoughts and ideas. Each new person brings a special gift or unique quality to add to the guild. We are now at 112 members and officers in the guild and growing more and more each day. We are upgrading to Level 5 upgrades. We have started our GUILD MISSIONS/BOUNTIES. Guild Treks is next. We are having fun with these.

We are also looking for new officers in the guild, but we will have to talk. If you like to play other on-line games, we have guildies that may may be playing the games your playing also. Such as (League of legends, Steam games, World of Warcraft, Aion, Tera, Starcraft, Diablo 2, 3) and much more. So I figure we can be considered a gaming (community, guild, or group).
