I still say you should come back to me XD <3
You’re SO stalking me. lol
Not quite you, just the recruitment threads in general. I’m addicted. I’m going to close recruitment just so I get my life back, lol.
I’m pretty sure I posted on your reddit post and messaged you in game. I’m from Dissentient. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, say something and I’ll send our recruitment info.
Yep, you did. I’m still trollign the waters, seeing what else might be out there before dedicating to a guild in particular.
Have a read of our recruitment thread here.
Granted, our roster size is smaller than you asked for, but that will change. Our philosophy will not.
Let me reflect on what you said to show that I’ve read, then I’ll introduce us a bit more.
Unfortunately we use TS3, we quite like it, and we got a server for free which helps. The TS3 we use is the public voip for the server we’re on tho so you never need to switch between when doing guild events and events with other guilds and such. We just invite everyone on to ours.
Our guildchat is very social, and a few people do not use mics when we’re on TS so they just communicate answers to us in guild chat or party chat, that works too. We also have people for whom writing is a pain, so the voip works as a conduit for them in that manner.
We currently have 50 active members in our guild, but I believe that the influence count counts alts, so it might be closer to 30-40, these are logins on a daily basis. We do a lot of WvW, and have a few planned events a week, but mostly it’s open door.
Thus far we’ve not really had any drama except for once, but it ended with that member leaving the guild on his own volition.
Currently in WvW we’re going back to basics. Small strike-teams are a lot more fun than the big zerg. Example tonight; 3man team took down 2 gates of Bay while the zerg were keeping them occupied at Garrison. So much fun Also 4man team with 2 mesmers inside of Bay keeping half the zerg busy for 30minutes. (We laughed a lot at that)
I believe we have players in WvW on all hours of the day. Being an international guild we have NA, EU and AU players.
We are planning to do some more PvE events, other than dungeons, but it has not fully gotten off the ground yet, we do however have some people farming in Cursed Shore from time to time. My goal is to get a “let’s do all the events in a zone” day, and just run around for crazy fun.
Now let me introduce my guild a bit further. We are Dynasty Warriors, originally a multi gaming clan founded back in 2003. We’ve had our ups and downs but moved from GW1 to GW2 on release with a core of 40 people that have connected through the years. I myself have been with the community for 7 years this month). Having matured during 9 years makes our average age quite high (last we counted it was 28, but I believe it’s higher now) and some of us have families to attend to as well.
DW is a casual PvX guild with an active WvW team that is looking to expand and get even more active players. We are on the Far Shiverpeaks server (EU) and we’re here to stay even when a lot of other WvW guilds have left. Call it server pride if you will.
As I said we’re international and we have people online all through the day, and quite a few active NA players by now. One of whom shared this post recently, that contains all the info about our guild (and links to the other two posts I had made the same day) https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/guilds/guilds/Eu-Far-Shiverpeaks-LF-WvW-NA-players/
I take great pride in my recruits and that I get to know them, and know who we invite.
I hope to hear from you soon,
- Maloki WvW/Recruit officer of DW.
@Farshiverpeaks
You’re dumb. You’ll die, and you’ll leave a dumb corpse
We are more then 50, but not all the players on everyday. Yes a guild should be like farmily, friendly and I do try to enforce that. Hmmmm We are mainly American based and play the game to relax. I do have Vent, sorry to be honest hate mumble… but to each his own. Many of us work/university, families or both. We do get into a lot of discussion over many things in game and out. I cannot say that a conversation in my guild will not always not get out of hand. But I do when I am on will give private warnings to calm the tension or put a stop in something that may go to far. To be honest I will stop conversation of about sexual preference, religion or politics. Those most of the time get out of hand and someone from my time playing always gets hurt or offended. All I can say, if you can talk with us and see if we fit your needs. Otherwise good luck on your search. Take care
