Guild Wars 2

Hello there..

I’m Kai and I am currently in a guild and I’m not sure about it so I’m keeping my options open. I am 22 years old and play very often (Central time – usually evenings 3pm-2am). I am looking for an 18+ guild and want to get away from perverted/overly inappropriate humor.

I have a level 50 Ranger and I like to go about my business casually.. exploring, crafting and advancing my story [would be great to do more dungeons too]. I really do not want to join a guild that is large. I actually prefer a smaller guild.. I don’t mind if the guild is expanding to become bigger but I find that being in a guild with 100+ members already is not for me. So please – the closer to between 15 and 50 members as possible, the better.. I want to feel like I’m welcome and a part of the team.. not just another tiny fish in a big lake.

I do have a mic, and I am a little reserved but I am more than willing to join in on Mumble or Teamspeak – I also like when guilds have their own established website with forums.

I am on the Jade Quarry server and I do not want to transfer, sorry..

I did see your comment about not wanting to transfer. However I decided to post because I think LO would be a good fit for you and you don’t have to transfer … it’s advantageous for two reason though, joining us for WvW if you chose to and because the transfers are painless and currently Free of charge. Again though, there is no obligation to so, we welcome members from any home world.

Thank you Talgen – I have to say, although I want a “casual” guild [what I mean by that is that I prefer not to be heckled to PvP at least so-and-so each month etc].. I still do like (and prefer) the structure and sense of community/commitment that a guild shows by having a website/voice communication system.

i just started a new guild over at Desolation called Fallen Wolves [WOLF] and i’m looking for solid, casual members who like to do their own thing. guildies will be there should you want any help or run a dungeon with us. the roster is very small now, so any good members that join up now will be the foundation of the guild. i also don’t tolerate any drama so you won’t come across any of that.

Creators of eXtreme Nightmares is a large multi-gaming clan that is currently setting up a Guild Wars 2 department. We have a Steam group with over 50.000 members following us every day. Our goal is to set a name in this Guild Wars community as well.

We are currently looking for people to strenght our team for Guild Wars 2. If you are looking for a small group (the Guild should not grow larger then 50 people) of players that wants to have fun in every aspect of the game, then you are in the right topic. We want to do raids, dungeons, PvP, WvW and achieve to have our map complete. Non of this will be on hardcore base, but on a very social and occasional base. Lithiferous is a relatively small guild in Blackgate that is currently attempting to gather new members. We are friendly and most of us are very mature (if not all of us). I’m part of my clan now for years already and I know exactly what you mean. There are moments I’ve been inactive a bit, simply cause of the change of games, but in the end I’ve always sticked with the people I know now for a long time already and start playing a game they also enjoy.

And I hate recruiting people that leave within months or even just stay away without notice.

Right! I mean, life happens and people don’t live at their computer but I see the guilds with people who have been in there for years, traveling from game to game.. and that’s awesome. I see lots of guilds that look nice and I’m sure the people are great but some are just not the right fit for everyone. Some people are more bold and can make themselves known in a HUGE guild with no problem.. but I’ve experienced -trying- to fit in and be known/get to know people yet it results in being ignored. I guess there is a guild/clan for everyone.. just a matter of finding it!

Dragon Chow is in much the same situation. Our core group has been together through many MMO’s. We are a long term group of friends that enjoy playing these games together. Our goal right now is to branch out and expand our group of friends to create a better community for players. Sometimes its tough to find that right group of people to fit in with. But when you do find it, it can be a lot of fun

I was going to offer for you to check out Forbidden but you seem pretty adamant about staying on Jade Quarry. lol just keep in mind your cutting down the possibilities of finding the perfect guild for you by cutting yourself off from taking advantage of the free transfers :P

Some things to keep in mind (and my apologies if you already know):

You don’t have to change servers to join any guild, and you’re not limited to one guild, although some guilds may not like multi-memberships.

Being on a separate server makes it tricky to actually play with guildmates, but it’d give you an idea of when, how many, and how often players are on. Guild chat works across all servers, one guild at a time (whichever you’re representing). You can sorta try them all out without leaving Jade Quarry :]

I have found a guild that seems to fit well with me for what I am looking for, so I won’t be looking anymore as of now. I hope it works out with this guild and again, thank you to everyone for posting!
