Guild Wars 2

Hey everyone,

I am very new to this game and by new i mean it is still downloading the final updates. I saw this a while ago and could not wait to check out GW2! Well the time has come for me to find a server and learn about this game and all the in’s and out’s.

My experience with MMO’s has mostly been with WoW for, well…. since i can remember. Way back in Vanilla. I did play a bit of SWTOR as well. I play for anywhere from 2 – 5 hours an evening but I do have a family and kids that i spend time with so those are flexible. I’m not really sure what i am looking for in a guild but i just want to be able to level with friendly people and chat it up on a vent server or mumble or what have you. i have a few friends that may be following me over from WoW and i just want to make sure that they are able to join if they follow me. I live in the US and I’m in CST. I’m usually on from 10pm till 2am give or take. Please be nice and active that’s all i ask. and i don’t speak anything other than Russian and English (Eng. is my native)

If you are looking for a good server and friendly guild, you should try GASM on the Devona’s Reach server. Devona is one of the smaller “worlds”, so there is still plenty of open room if your friends join later.

My guild is usually pretty active, especially in the evenings and weekends. We also have a teamspeak server for coordinating in WvW or dungeons, or just chatting while we play. If you’d like to know more about us, our guild leader posted a recruitment thread here in the Guild forum recently. A quick search for “GASM” should find it.

Warlord is about meeting new people and having fun PvPing. Now we’re looking to enjoy all aspects of Guild Wars 2. Warlord is a primarily NA WvW guild looking to get into sPvP and PvE. Our founding members come from many different MMOs including Aion, LoL, Rappelz, and Tera. We also have a vent.
Recruitment Information: We are currently looking for members on Sanctum of Rall interested in any of the following:
WvW
- Currently, we are most active in WvW during the end of the week, Thursday-Sunday around 6pm Central. We are looking for more members to form small raiding groups. We use vent to coordinate our groups it is highly recommended to log on vent even if you do not wish to talk to listen during raids.
sPvP
- While WvW is our main focus, sPvP is a great way to improve individual and group PvP skills. We are looking to form sPvP groups to practice together, and as we expand to run various guild and paid tournament events.
PvE
- This is an area we currently lack in and wish to greatly expand. From running instances to leveling alts and exploring more classes, we want get more involved in everything this game has to offer.
Rules: Our only rules are no flaming, no scamming, and no cheating/hacking. Warlord has a zero tolerance on these issues.

My guild is an excellent place for people who are just getting into the game. We are a group of mature players mostly in our 30s. Many of us have children and full time jobs so like you our play time varies, but we are primarily active in the evenings EST. Heroic Heroes of Heroism was founded by several friends who have known each other, and have gamed together for well over 10 years. As adults, at this point in our lives many of us have full time jobs, significant others, and / or children of our own. While our personal lives and entanglements may take up much of our time and attention, there still remains at least one constant: we love to game together and interact with like minded people!

We wanted to create a Guild Wars 2 guild where all kinds of great and friendly players could pool together to enhance their gaming experience, regardless of whether your schedule is busy or flexible. A place where all players involved felt like they were a part of a meaningful community of great people. Above all else, we just want to PLAY and have a great time doing it! We do not have any mandatory events which require you to commit regular play time, but we highly encourage our members to organize optional nights and activities as long as your fellow players in the guild are kept in mind.

If you want to join a group of mature, open minded, and at times hilariously demented people (in a non-murderous kind of way), then we would love to have you on-board to take this ride with HHH. Hell, we’ll even cater to anti-social cat lovers!

I have my own Small Guild ‘Masters of Ascendance’ in Sorrows Furnace. We’re still starting up and need members. We’re aiming at being A relaxed Social Guild, one where members will frequently help each other or team up just for the fun of it.
