Guild Wars 2

Greetings folks,

My name is Warlito, and I’m fairly new to Guild Wars. Only played Guild Wars 1 for a very short period. I’m currently a level 53 Ranger on the Underworld server.
I used to be playing this game with some real life friends, but they all quit as they did not enjoy the game as much as I do. Therefore I’m looking for a fun, casual and friendly guild that I can be part of, so that this game won’t feel so lonesome.

I actually like the server I’m on for some reason, but if it’s not too much of a hassle I might be willing to switch servers, if you convince me enough of course.
I’m pretty much an all round player, but I play PVE the most, and haven’t really done any dungeons yet since my friends all left.

I’m a member of Masters of Ascendance [MOA], housed on Sorrow’s Furnace. We’re a medium and growing guild of about 10-20 players active during North American [EST] evening and Australian evening time. Sorrow’s Furnace is an active server that, although being a low-tier WvW competitor, makes up for it by plenty of PVE grouping.

We’re a supportive guild that encourages all styles and levels of play. Most of our members are casual but active on a daily basis, and it’s normal to find us organizing dungeon runs, map clearings, jump puzzles, and even user-made games like scavenger hunts (recent).

Our objective is to have fun playing the game in a group setting while encouraging each other and pulling all members through challenging game content. We have no strict representation rules, and our members are funny, helpful, and skilled.

The guild is growing and right now we feature a well-stocked guild bank and several tier-1 and 2 upgrades to boost karma and magic find, which can be activated by guild officers during group events. We also have a Teamspeak server and a website (http://mastersofascendance.shivtr.com) that you can check out.

if you don’t mind changing server then you may be interested in joining Darkveil on Gandara.

We consider ourselves fun, casual and friendly (Sound familiar ) and would love to have you join us. We have a lot of members doing daily dungeon runs for gear. A few have alts so are doing paths twice with each character too, so plenty of opportunity to do dungeons. We are also getting a fractals progression team together after the Christmas holidays so chance for more fun.

A bit more background info about us:
Darkveil is a guild for English speaking, non hardcore, mature players. We like to get regular events and raids organised, but we also respect that our members have real lives outside the game and that the game is for fun and relaxation. We pride ourselves on a relaxed and fun attitude to the games that we play.
We originated way back in the early days of DAOC where we ran a fun and friendly guild doing both PvE and RvR. Since DAOC a lot of our members went their separate ways to different games but we reunited for Guild Wars 2 as we believe that this offers the closest gaming experience to old DAOC RvR.
We run regular groups both for PvP and PvE and organise events for all members to join, at all levels. Having played various MMOs over the years, we appreciate the need for organisation for events but without putting pressure on the guild members.
We have a guild forum and mumble server which we use for dungeons or pve groups.
If you have a mature attitude and are either a casual player or semi hard core, then you may be interested in joining us for some fun. Please get in touch with us in game or via our forum and leave us some information and we will get back to you.

I have read your post and wanted to reply and offer you a spot in our small cozy laid back guild, if you dont mind to change servers.
We have members from Europe, the US, and other parts of the world.

We have 89 members atm, and we are steadily growing, but we
still maintain to keep the family feeling.

We have a mature member base, I would not mind taking a few
younger members, as long as it wont be the majority of our roster.

Although we are small, we have a very active group of people
now, we play every day and mostly play together in party.

We have weekly organized WvW/PvP, Dungeon & FotM runs, and even Music Night, and our members do all those activities together with other guild members every day as well.

We use RaidCall to talk, and a lot of us are on there on a daily basis as well.

We invite you to visit our guild and talk with us either in game or on vent. . What would it hurt? The majority of our guild is 21 and older, but we also have down to 18 of age. We are all working class and/or university students and/or have families to take care of. We are mainly American and Canadian time zones, but have a few Euros from England, Finland and other areas that came with us from Guild Wars(so International guild). We log on to have fun and relax, so I am guessing you would consider us a casual guild. We have people may do one or a mixture of all; Pve, Pvp, dungeons, and Wvw. We don’t want to make the game a job, because that not what games are for. We are slowly rebuilding the guild at this time. We are looking for people, willing to help us grow. We are friendly and will do what we can or when we can for others in the guild. We enjoy new people, thoughts and ideas. Each new person brings a special gift or unique quality to add to the guild.
