Guild Wars 2

Hey! I’m looking to join a guild that likes to have fun, be social, and doesn’t mind me being inactive most weekdays. I currently live on the west coast (Arizona to be exact) and can generally only play at odd hours of the day, or on weekends.

I played GW1 for years, and GW2 at launch but never got very far due to life/work. I just now have been able to have some free time again, and had to reroll a new character as well (long story short: my account was hacked while I was gone, and after regaining access to it I found that my main character… was level 80! haha). Needless to say, I would call myself a newbie to the game.

As for everything else, I’d prefer a guild with a more “family” oriented atmosphere. Not just a guild made in game and what not, but external websites (forums, etc) and VOIP/playing other games is a huge plus.

Which server are you playing on?

Oh crap my bad. Sanctum of Rall, but I can change servers if need be (literally just beat the tutorial so far on my new character).

Hey Ziji. My guild is Guardians of the Mist on Jade Quarry. We’re casual, but very active! Do a lot of dungeon, guild bounties and such. We have some new players who are leveling as well so you’ll be able to find people to clear zones with if you’d like.

We have a website and TS3 and definitely prefer people like you who want to be active in chat and voice.

Most of our gamers are for GW2, but we have some others playing Aion and FFXIV as well, so if you’re looking for other games you might have some luck. As I said though we’re pretty GW2 dedicated!

Ah, okay. Well we’re on Sea of Sorrow’s. I’m not going to post some huge spiel for you to read because I doubt you’d want to read it haha.

The basics:

We use Teamspeak 3 for communication

We’re fairly small at the moment. Probably 15-20 active members
We’re focusing on all aspects of PvE and WvW right now, but may delve into SPvP in the future.
We’re mostly comprised of young adults

We also don’t have guild bounties unlocked yet(but are saving for it) if that was a necessity for you.

Heya! Writhe [WRTH] is currently looking for new members. We have 19 members atm and we are actually an established guild for over 4 years now. We play different games but have mostly joined GW2 as our new main game.

We do dungeon runs and can help you out if you need some guidance game wise. We use raidcall to talk and someone is usually on there or bugging those of us in game to hop on to chat xD

Pandora’s Mighty Soldiers [PMS] is still recruiting on Yak’s Bend. We’re the GW2 division of a much larger community, the PMS|H2O Clan.

We’re a small, close-knit PvX guild dabbling in most of everything, but our focus has always been playing together. This is important to us, and if it’s important to you, then we’d be more than happy to have you join our family.

Most of our players are 20+ and above, and we all understand that RL commitments come first. My guild is called The Gryphons Aerie. We are a smaller, social, 18+ PvE/RP family on Tarnished Coast. Some of us also enjoy knocking some heads in WvsW and a touch of sPvP. Knowledge of, or participation in RP is not required. We’ll teach you if you want to learn, but there’s no pressure.

We know that RL comes first and stress that fact. We’ll still be there even if you can’t for a bit of time. We enjoy helping each other and doing things together when possible. All you have to do is ask if you need help with something and we’ll do our best to come to your aid.

You are more than welcome to just guest on our server for a while before making a choice to move permanently. If you do try us out and decide that you do like us, we’ll help you get the gems you need.

There is also no requirement to be representing us at all times. It’s not our business to tell you who you can and cannot associate with; that choice is yours alone. All we ask is that you give us some time too. We do have a TeamSpeak 3 as well, but it’s use is on a purely optional basis. Most of our chatter is on the guild channel.

My guess is I’m too late but I’m still going to make a pitch anyway as I think my community, MadCast Gaming fits exactly what you said you were searching for.

We’re a community, so we’re not just focused on GW2. We have a website at Madcastgaming.com with super active forums. We have an active TeamSpeak server where we all hang out and chat.

I personally am low-level, but I love just getting to be in TeamSpeak with my fellow guild members even if I’m just running around the map doing hearts by myself. Everyone in our group is friendly, welcoming and respectful.

We’re not a huge community… we’re probably quite small compared to many but I think that means we have better connections between our members. The group we have tends to be quite active, but there’s no requirements for being active. Be around when you can and want to, join in on the activities that sound fun and interesting to you.

Anyway, I’d really encourage you to check out our website or shoot me a PM. Our guild does also happen to be on Sanctum of Rall, where you are. But I know you’ve been flooded with responses so I won’t be surprised if one of these other awesome groups has snatched you up.
