After trying to make a guild and failing, and waking up to be the leader of another developed one, but still no bites, I guess I will join another guild…

Things I wish to see in said guild;

Not going to be kicked for missing up to a week at a time (Sometimes RL gets quite busy with short notice, but I can inform someone if it’ll be longer.)

I don’t want to be in a guild that has like 500 people, I prefer a small close knit guild, that isn’t about power and rank, more about just having fun, and chatting and such… Although I can understand “orders” given in wvw, which is fine. And yes. I do enjoy wvw and spvp. A comfortable number to me is between 10 and 50 players.

A guild that is fine helping eachother, for example; I’m a decent level tailor, I wouldn’t expect a guildie to pay for something I make, unless its very expensive. Or maybe mats.

I would be willing to change out of Sanctum of Rall if the guild was appealing enough, after spending time getting to know the community from my home server.

and for the love of grenth… No silly names like Hello Kitty Boomboom or something -.-

If you are EU based you could consider us. We are a close knit guild that keeps the roster small on purpose so people get to know eachother better. We do have a relaxed atmosphere and believe you game to relax and have fun. I read you are interested in PvP, I have to admit this is not the top priority of the guild. So we might be too little PvP orientated for your liking. At the moment we mainly focus on PvE with organised guild dungeon runs. We do have plans to add WvW runs in the future, but that won’t be very soon.

If the lack of organised PVP is not of your liking I understand and wish you the best of luck finding a guild that suits you better.

I could deal with the lack of pvp, I’ve done plenty solo thus far. Although, I am not EU based Nor do I know the consequences of being in US playing on EU (Lag and such) with a comp that I play around 15fps on min gfx. If you could shed some light on that, I will certainly consider you guys.

If you are US based I think it is in your own benefit to look for another guild as most likely our playtimes would not align and you would be a lonely kitty while we are sleeping.

I guess you have a good point there… Being in a guild that everyone slept in while I was awake would feel about the same as being guildless

We are currently at work so browsing the forum before going home at the end of the day. I think there are plenty of US guilds out there that can offer you a spot. Just hang on in there!

We’re adults with the hope that you will stay around to play with us – you are not required to do anything but stick to the “no drama, no jerks” policy and group with guildmates.

I don’t want to be in a guild that has like 500 people, I prefer a small close knit guild, that isn’t about power and rank, more about just having fun, and chatting and such We’re growing to a point of balance where we have enough people to offer everyone play options, but not so large that any reasonably active person will feel lost in the shuffle.

Although I can understand “orders” given in wvw, which is fine. And yes. I do enjoy wvw and spvp. A comfortable number to me is between 10 and 50 players. I have 3 ranks: GM, my second, and members. There’s no power trip or ridiculous hierarchy here. Leaders rise to the occasion without labels.

[TAG] Tyrian Advanced Guard recruiting!

We are a fairly new guild on Crystal desert that is very close knit. We like to recruit people we have played with before in the game or gotten comfortable with. there are no power hungry players, and everyone is willing to help out a guildy if needed with , crafting, items, exploration locations ect. Our motto is Real life comes first! So there are no activity restrictions, If your online great come join us, if your not we wont call your hosue and interogate you forever.
We are aiming to be around 30 ppl 50 at the most.
We focus mainly on WvW but do participate heavily in all areas of GW2. We are a PvX guild.

It seems that there are a lot of guilds out there that have what we consider to be ludicrous requirements for membership.

“Moonies” are not required to spend any “set” amount of time in game. Log in when you feel like it. Once in, spend your time doing what is fun for you. If you like dungeons and pvp, enjoy! If those things are not your cup of tea, by all means, don’t do them! Keep your money! We will not “tax” you or ask you to contribute real life or game cash for anything. Ever. Group and participate in guild chat if/when you feel like it. Quietly do your thing solo if that’s what you enjoy.

The Gryphons Aerie is a small, laid-back PvE/RP guild on Tarnished Coast. However, RP is purely optional and we have a few people who enjoy a bit of casual WvW.
