Looking for a guild on Tarnished Coast for several members
Let me please make it clear that we are not looking for rank or anything like that at all. Just a place to play with others whenever we have time to play regradless if its a lot or a little time.
The Order of the Point Hats would be happy to welcome you all into our guild. We’re a PvX guild with an RP subgroup. We’ve got around 40 members at the moment and are actively recruiting. My only concern is that our guilds’ cultures are compatible. Our guild is about fun first and foremost. We don’t tolerate hate speech of any kind and welcome all people regardless of background. We think the game should be about enjoying ourselves. We hold regular RP and WvW events and members are starting to do dungeon runs as well. If all that is fine with you guys, we’d be glad to have you. The more the merrier.
I will be in touch soon, fun first is our goal too.
I have a small guild of players that is looking to join a larger guild. I am unsure how many players will come over but I do want a guild that will take all of us. The number would be no larger then 20 but most likely more like 5 to 10. We have players of all sorts. Some who just like to PVE, some that like to PVP, and some that like to do both. A guild that does dungeons and groups for PVP would be nice. We have players on both the East and West coasts of the USA and some in Canada. Also, some of our players play a lot and some play a little. We would want a guild that would not kick players out for not logging in that week. We are looking for casual and lay-back. Older would be a plus. A majority of our players are experience MMO players and in thier 30s and 40s. Please get in touch with me if you think you are the guild for us.
Jaedzia,
My guild Lil Ones [LO] on Ferguson’s Crossing may be a great fit for your group. We’re a casual, adult member (most in their 30s, and parents as well), guild that is building a solid group of active members that we look forward to playing with. Nearly all of the members are MMO vets and are supportive and cooperative. We’ll socialize and group up as the urge strikes us, and we’ll enjoy playing the game together.
I invite you to read my post about LO. I even posted a good-natured call to arms for LOners, cause they need a home too If we sound like a good fit for you and your current members, please get in touch. I hope to hear from you.

Thank you for your post. I will be trying to get in contact with you too soon.
Jaedzia, everything you just said sounds a lot like what Vanguard Gaming is about. Our median age is around 29 or 30, and we have the same goals and priorities. We have many parents (including myself), and 5+ guild events per week. We value RL over gaming of course, and would never put pressure on our members to act otherwise. We are a multi-game community, which has been together for several years. On GW2, we average 15 to 20 online during peak hours.
That being said, we would be tenative about accepting so many players in without talking about this in detail first. In fact, I generally would avoid a guild merge, because it is very important to us to make sure people are the right fit. However, your post just rings true to what we’re about. We have had several smaller guilds merge with us over the past two years, so it can work. We’d be more than willing to discuss to see if this is the right fit for both guilds.
Please visit www.vanguardgaming.com. If you register there, feel free to send me a message, or even create a forum thread to discuss. You can also hit us up in-game, Bloodgale Vanguard (on Tarnished Coast).
Regardless of your decision, best of luck to you and your group.
