Guild Wars 2

So I am looking for a smallish mature (18+) guild, I am very new to GW2, been playing under 2 weeks. I’m looking for a guild that is friendly and willing to help me learn the ropes. I currently have a lvl 25 ranger and my home world is Gates of Madness on the American server, which I am willing to change for the right guild. Currently only interested in PvE, at a higher lvl I would be interested in dungeons and possibly WvW

Other notes:

~ I cannot voice chat and this is not negotiable.
~ Must understand that my real life always comes first so there will be periods of inactivity.
~ I would prefer if there was not an application on a website or a website mandatory activeness.

You know, you sound like a good person and even though you’re not on my guild’s server, I think you’d find a good group of friends in VZ who are more than willing to help you learn the ropes. Maybe down the road you’d be willing to transfer, too, so you could more easily play with us without having to guest all of the time (and so you could WvW with us if you want to learn that). I will note that you can transfer servers for free if you have no characters on your account, but that would require you delete your level 25 ranger, which is entirely up to you (no pressure).

We’re a medium-sized guild on the Stormbluff Isle server, and we’re primarily PvE with a focus on end-game content to give players like yourself something to look forward to when you hit level 80. Furthermore, we’re always tolerant of newcomers so long as you’re willing to learn and would be happy to explain things as we go. We do guild events and end-game content regularly and nightly, but it’s not a requirement to come. Furthermore, we don’t make players use a website, and while we use voice chat and recommend it, it’s not required (we don’t bite, I swear!). We’re all older individuals, many (myself included) with career jobs that demand full-time employment, so we also are very understanding that the real world comes first.

Writhe [WRTH] is a small casual guild looking for new recruits. We currently have 30 members. Most of our players are new players learning the game. We have a group of experienced players who help guide them through leveling and learning the game mechanics. There’s no such thing as a stupid question with us. If you need help learning more about your class or just want people to hang out with we might be right for you.

We do a lot of event camping and WvW. We’re working on getting guild missions going but to do that we need to help everyone in our guild level and learn more about the world first. If you’re interested in joining you can send me a PM on here or in game.
