Hi, I’m looking for a guild that I’ve described in the thread title:

Friendly, mostly does PvE (because I already have lots of WvW practice with my current guild), and one that has a tendency to host events. In addition, I require you be accepting of multi-guilding because I bounce around quite often to different aspects of the game (not because I won’t be a dedicated member, but because I don’t want to bog down a PvE-centric guild with lots of sPvP/WvW talk).

Currently I’m on the sanctum of rall, however I’ve been considering transferring to one without a hyper-competitive playerbase, so please include in your reply what server you’re from. Right now I have a lvl 80 thief as my main, and an 80 engineer which I mostly use for farming, while the rest are level 30 or under, though I have 8 character slots in case you require. I’m just finishing up my trinket set, and would very much like to learn to speed-run Ascalon Catacombs for armor sets, as well as continuing to grind Caudecus’s Manor for runes and a legendary gift.

I would prefer a guild that either does have a voice server and requires it, or does not, because I prefer the guild to not be divided between the “haves” and the “have-nots” when it comes time to group up for things (I’ve had experiences with guilds that tend to not care about people if they’re not on Vent). That said, I currently have Vent, Teamspeak, Raidcall, Mumble, and Skype to use, and would be more than willing to get on any time if you use it too.

In GW1, I earned GWAMM after a couple of years (in addition to casually playing HA and GvG, among other things like speedclears), while being a guild leader of my own. This time around, though, real life economic troubles have hit me hard, and so I can’t commit to being a real effective leader. I can, though, serve as an officer for you if you’re looking for that sort of thing. I have experience with player-run events in GW1 which I would very much like to share with you. In fact I’ve got a LOT of old tricks up my sleeves

I’m pretty patient, admittedly, but I much prefer to go with smart folks that do not Leeroy through dungeons like a headless chicken, wearing brown-paper armor. If you think that your guild can do dungeons in a more correct fashion than average, I’d like to talk to you as soon as possible.

Jaded[Jade] on Darkhaven is recruiting active, friendly, and mature members and there is no application process. We are a family-style guild looking to form long-term friendships through PvE and PvP. I haven’t made a final decision yet, but wanted to say thank you for the replies and private messages. I am rather picky, but I have a few in mind to talk to privately.

First, though, let me clarify something: I’m looking for a guild that is keenly aware of the other guilds around and, in short, is really community-friendly. When I say “I want events”. . .
I’m not talking about a weekly guild-gettogether. I’m talking about BIG stuff. Stuff that takes a week to prepare, or so. Stuff that, not only the guild can enjoy, but which says “we want to be your friends” to the whole server! …without resorting to making it a “recruitment opportunity” …shudders

Are you going to host a public event soon? Planning on it down the road? I know it’s a daunting idea, from personal experience, but let me assure you it’s much easier than you may be imagining.

We are a new-ish PvX oriented Guild and are part of an established and structured Gaming Community, and we are looking for active, friendly players. We’ve just started our upgrades and currently working toward the basics so we can put up some banners for our members. Every Sunday we have our ‘official’ WvW event and we group up for dungeon runs almost daily. We have TS3!! I’d also like to add that we follow the quality > quantity rule for our members and we play on Ehmry Bay and Aurora Glade. Right now we’re a bit small (~8 core players that play every day), but we gotta start somewhere right? : D

We do have requirements on our forums for activity, but they are very, very minimal, and pretty lenient (we understand people have lives offline too ^.^)
