Guild Wars 2

I’ve been really enjoying guild wars 2 since beta, but I’ve been having a hard time finding a good solid guild to call home.

I’m looking for a new guild, and the following attributes strike me as some of the most important:

- A good amount of active players and a decent player base
- Focus on GW2. Sure everyone wants to take a break and play some other games, but the main reason we are here is to play GW2.
- PVE and WvW. I enjoy dungeons, fractals, and just goofing off in game, and WvW is a blast. I hate standing around waiting for dragon timers. Guild missions are great, special events are good too.
- Maturity – I would prefer and adult crowd.
- Life comes first. Jobs, families, etc are more important than gaming.
- I am in the central time zone and tend to game evenings on weekdays and random times during weekends. An ideal weekday event starts around 8 central for me for example.
- Players who know what they are doing and are good at it, and willing to talk and experiment with builds/theory
- Guild leadership that is focused on the guild and GW2 in general.

Things I’m not interested in:
- Not a big fan of drama
- Not interested in class restrictions – I play alot of classes which may be why the game never gets old to me.
- Not interested in elitism of any kind (although I can perfectly understand gear limitations like higher fractals)

I am willing to transfer to any server. Would like to know how WvW queue times are since I enjoy it a lot.

I’m excited to see that Dice fits all of your requirements.
No Dice is located on Fort Aspenwood, a NA Tier 2 in WvW (queues aren’t bad at all. I’d say maybe 5-10 minutes on our BL, 5 minutes on any other BL we’re pushing in, and insta-pop in the third BL and in EBG)
-We are purely PvX, meaning we strive for a good balance in all areas of the game.
-We have extremely active dungeon crawlers and many highly skilled Fractal runners, so finding groups for things is pretty easy as long as you advertise yourself.
-We welcome players of all skill levels
-We are VERY active with Guild Missions. We have Bounty, Trek and Rush unlocked.
-I lead WvW squads pretty regularly (when I’m not terribly busy with school)
-We are a real-life-first guild, with many professionals, college students, and military personnel.
-We strictly enforce a 18+ age limit, which encourages a mature atmosphere
-We are unapologetic about maintaining a drama-free guild chat and Mumble channel.
-We are part of a multi-game community (WoW, PS2, LoL, DoTA2-that kind of stuff,) but we have a core of about 30-50 active members who play GW2 pretty much exclusively.

Dice has only two requirements from any potential members.
1. Access to Mumble (our VOIP of choice)
2. A sense of humor
You will need both to fully appreciate how awesome this guild is.

I have done my best to address all your points as you listed them:

• We are a semi-casual PVX, EST, NA Guild of approx. 140+ players on the Tarnished Coast server, currently a T2 server in WvWvW. On a normal night during primetime, we have approx. 50+ guild members on.
• GW2 is the only game our guild as a whole is focused on, and all our officers and leaders are dedicated to THIS game only.
• We regularly schedule PvE Events throughout the week, as well as Guild Missions, WvWvW, and Spvp as well. *Guild Missions: Bounty, Trek , and Rush (Currently queued up to open)/ Guild Lottery, Contests, and Raffles
• We are all working class adults, and we do not recruit members below the age of 18.
• We respect that real life comes first, and we do not enforce your in game play time, other then asking that you post if you will be absent more then a week, and check in on our forums once a week to remain “active” member status
• CYN offers PvE events for EST and PST based members, starting at 7pm CST and also at 10pm CST respectively, 4 nights a week. WvW events take place at 7pm CST 3 times weekly.
• A fun and friendly community of mmorpg veterans, a guild mentor program for less experienced players, and a forums full of class and build threads where we talk theorycrafting
• Dedicated Officer roles for each aspect of GW2; WvWvW, SPvP, and PvE
• We have Zero tolerence policy when it comes to drama, and will often quickly remove members who cause strife in the guild
• We encourage altoholics, and most of us have at least 2-5 alts.
• Every member is treated equally, from recruit to Officer to GM. We are all held to the same standards, and we are pretty laid back and casual, so you will not find any elitism here. No one will tell you how to play your character.

We have a program where we also help subsidise your gem cost to xfer to our server with some gold from a guild fund (please speak to Sinner for more information if you are interested in transferring).

The WvWvW queue times are understandably long on reset night, but most other nights have a very small queue of 5-10 mins, or nonexistant usualy throughout the week.

I have a guild called Wrath Incarnate (WIN). We play on Sorrows Furnace and are what I would call a medium sized guild (80+) members. We have a relatively mature player base with a few young ones mixed in to keep us up to date on the current trends and pop culture…lol. We are currently recruiting to add to our player base and just generally add to our friendly player base.

To respond to your requirements in order…..
- 80+ members…most nights we have up to 15 representing on during peak times plus more from a guild that we do missions with (they represent during mission time)
- Most solely play just GW2, but I cant say for certain tbh….we arent a “gaming community” just a gw2 guild
- We used to focus heavily on dungeons and fractals….I have seen a renewed interest in sPVP and also WvW now. Building our WvW presence is what Im really interested in
- I’m mature and so are my officers…we like to joke in vent though
- Our guild is split between north american time zones…we have a equal split I’d say
- We are not elitist but most of our members have multiple characters and can speak to their builds
- I go to work, come home and take care of my kids, and play the game at night during my free time…those are the three things I do.

We avoid drama, have zero class restrictions and are far from elitism

We also have vent and a website, working on lvl 6 upgrades and all that fun stuff.

The queue to Sorrows Furnace WvW is not existant to say the least except on Fridays and the real peak times…its usually insta-queue.

We are all working class people and/or university students and/or have families to take care of. We are mainly North American times zones from one end to the other, but have a few Canadains, Euros from England, Finland and other areas that came with us from Guild Wars(so International guild). We log on to have fun and relax, so I am guessing you would consider us a casual guild. We have people may do one or a mixture of all; Pve, Pvp, dungeons, and Wvw. We will help and guide new players to the game and old players with what we can. We dont ask for special equipment for pvp, pve, and dungeons or build. We work with what you can bring. We don’t want to make the game a job, because that not what games are for. We are slowly rebuilding the guild at this time. We are looking for people, willing to help us grow. We are friendly and will do what we can or when we can for others in the guild. We enjoy new people, thoughts and ideas. Each new person brings a special gift or unique quality to add to the guild. We are now at 112 members and officers in the guild and growing more and more each day. We are upgrading to Level 5 upgrades. We have started our GUILD MISSIONS/BOUNTIES. Guild Treks is next. We are having fun with these.

We are also looking for new officers in the guild, but we will have to talk. If you like to play other on-line games, we have guildies that may may be playing the games your playing also. Such as (League of legends, Steam games, World of Warcraft, Aion, Tera, Starcraft, Diablo 2, 3) and much more. So I figure we can be considered a gaming (community, guild, or group).

I saw your post looking for a friendly, casual and mature guild and I wanted to contact you about looking into our guild, The Unholy Mackerels!
We are a PvX guild with a pride in respecting others, no matter their play style or play level. We also are tight knit and enjoy getting to know one another through activities such as Dungeons, WvW, Fractals, sPvP, or partying up in PvE to do Orr events together, dragons, and even helping with lvling main characters and alts.
We currently run weekly scheduled WvW, Dungeons, and Fractals and do any of the above throughout the week off schedule. There is always something going on daily, usually any time after 6pm EST during the weekdays and any time during the weekends.
WvW queue times are only busy on Wednesday and fridays other than that, it is fine.
The Unholy Mackerels has a core group of active members and we are building upon that, however doing so slowly so we get to know each and every one. We currently are a medium size guild with 53 members and about 20 of them are active daily.
We are quite the social guild through teamspeak and guild chat. We use teamspeak but do not require it. Often our newer members prefer to listen in on the first few days and talk when they feel comfortable, which usually they talk within the first 10 minutes once they realize how easy going everyone is.
You can find us on the Fort Aspenwood server. A server that has quite a busy PvE population in maps, it’s own friendly community forums for all things GW2, it’s own community teamspeak for WvW where everyone is welcome, and a server that enjoys working together through good communication while playing to have fun.
Being a growing gaming community, we also play many other games together as a guild and recently started a new weekly event, TF2sdays. Have no fear though as Guild Wars 2 has been our focus since beta and will continue to be for quite some time.
