Guild Wars 2

I’m a 43 y/o gamer, currently playing on Gunnar’s Hold with a Mesmer (28), Guardian (36), Warrior (28) and Engineer (20) – can’t really decide on a main
I love this game and have been playing it every day so far since release.

I mostly play during GMT+1 evenings from 4 or 5pm until 9 or 10pm and more during weekends. You can even find me online during weekdays although I keep telling myself that RL>GW2

I’m looking for a guild that has a sufficient number (10+) of active players online during these times and with a mature, relaxed and fun attitude, but at the same time get things done when it matters.

So far, I have only been doing PvE and that is likely to remain my main focus although I defintely want to try WvW (and dungeons) as well.
I can move server if necessary, but prefer to stay on a high population server.
I’m not looking for a guild that wants people to level as quickly as possible, because I don’t think GW2 should be played like that.
The game is perfect in distracting you from a set goal and frankly that’s one of the things I love about it.

So, I’m just looking for a bunch of people who like the game as much as I do and take time to enjoy it (together) rather then being the best and fastest in everything.

Also, I’m a sucker for forums so a guild with a nice website and active forums gets my preference

We run our events etc on GMT+1, pretty dedicated group of gamers, both competitive and casual. We focus mainly on WvW and PvE (dungeons etc).
Everyone has an open invite to the Guild, but to become a ‘member’ you gotta sign up on the forums and get voted in by the members! Keeps the forums an active place aswel as sorts out the people who wanna stay in the community for a while…

I am not sure if you are aware of Whispers of Acoma but…. We’re kind of a big deal, we have many leather-bound books and our guild forums smell of rich mahogany. Ok, maybe that last bit is down to your imagination but either way, WoA is for you.

We have active members, a mature and friendly attitude, run events/dungeons daily and understand that sometimes people don’t play a game 24/7 so we have no restrictions on our members, we just ask that you are as friendly and helpful as we are. You can check the rules on our forums, the link is provided in my sig.

If you think WoA sounds interesting well then you would be right just check out our TS some evening, send me a PM here or in game. I tend to play when I can and like the rest of our members, I am always on hand to help out when you need it.

We run a small guild so people get to know eachother better, but have currently around 10 people online each night and are still growing to up this number. Our playstyle seems to fit yours. We are currently mainly focussing on PvE with guild dungeon runs, but do not care about levelling the fastest way and are very relaxed. We game to have fun and work during the day. We are looking into guild WvW runs for the future. With your 43 years you would not be the oldest in the guild, nor the youngest.
