Guild Wars 2

I’ll keep this short, sweet and blunt. I don’t play Guild Wars 2 that often. Why? Because I have no friends who play it and the last guild I was in for a good 5 years disbanded because everyone just simply started playing different games and didn’t find interest in playing together etc…

What I ask from a guild…
- It’s constantly active and there’s always players active.
- Friendly guild
- People to actually play the game, show me the ropes (guide me into making a good character and teaching me things I didn’t know in order to make myself a better player and at better service to your guild) and help my character get in top shape so I can then help you guys in whatever way you want. (Dungeons, PvP, WvW etc..)

What I can offer you?
- Mature if needed but also I have a great sense of humour
- I’m from the UK (My timezone is GMT but I’m constantly online so can even play with Americans)
- I’m dedicated, I’ll play this game with you guys as long as I have people to enjoy it with and guide me in the right direction.
- I have a decent PC, Ventrilo, Microphone etc.. etc… Nothing to really hold me back.

Characters I’ve played as in past:
Charr Guardian (Somewhat enjoyed it to begin with but got bored after a few days)
Human Mesmer (Loved it until I got stuck on my personal story and then came to a conclusion it wasn’t for me)
Human Elementalist (Loved it but again, got bored)
I just need someone to suggest some race/classes, tell me some things I should be aiming for and also give me some hints and tips to just make me an overall better player. I get bored without playing with people. It’s an MMO, if I wanted to play alone, I’d play a single player game.

I’m not sure what server you are currently on and if you’d be willing to transfer, but I’ll mention my guild as a possibility for you.

In brief, we are a small (65 members) guild on Jade Quarry that does a little of everything. We have a range of players from those that just bought the game to those that have played since launch. Everyone is very friendly and easy going and loves to help one another where they can. We’re more than happy to give some ideas regarding builds and classes and help you get through the personal stories as needed. We also run through dungeons and fractals fairly often and several of us more or less live in WvW (and of course, we’re happy to provide walkthroughs and information on each of these as needed and always open to trying new things and hearing any ideas you may have on better ways to do these).

We are mostly a North America guild with a couple people in Europe and Singapore. As such, the only thing I can’t promise is full activity at all hours of the day and night. We are most active from about 6pm Eastern to 4am Eastern.

I’d love to have you in my guild. We’re mainly WvW based, but we run dungeons and do world bosses daily just for different reasons. We tend to be online during every kind of timezone, but we schedule around U.S central time. The schedules aren’t like a work kind of thing, but more “try to be on for WvW tonight at this time!” Our members love to help people learn the ropes of the game, whether it be for WvW, class strategies/builds, spvp, gearing, etc. We’ve trained several members who’ve become great in WvW already.

We have a growing presence in our server’s WvW, and we’re trying to have a bigger presence.

I have read your post and wanted to reply and offer you a spot in our small cozy laid back guild, if you dont mind to change servers. You can try out the guild by guesting, which is free, before deciding on changing your home server.

We have members from Europe, the US, and other parts of the world.

We have 181 members atm, and we are steadily growing, but we
still maintain to keep the family feeling.

We have a mature member base, I would not mind taking a few

What server are you currently on? Try to post a message specifically for your own one if you don’t want to pay to move to another one. I am sure that you find a good casual guild on every server.

Fort Aspenwood here. Only joined cause some guys I knew asked me to but then kinda didn’t play with me at all.

But if I get some money, I’ll consider switching.

My guild is called The Gryphons Aerie. We are a smaller, casual yet social, 18+ PvE/RP family on Tarnished Coast (some members also enjoy some WvsW now and then too). We know that RL comes first and stress that fact. We’ll still be there even if you can’t for a bit of time. We enjoy helping each other and doing things together when possible. All you have to do is ask if you need help with something and we’ll do our best to come to your aid.

Don’t worry just yet about changing servers. You’re welcome to guest on Tarnished Coast and check us out first (if you think we’re the right fit). If you decide you like it, we’ll help you get the gems to transfer.

There is also no requirement to be representing us at all times. It’s not our business to tell you who you can and cannot associate with; that choice is yours alone. All we ask is that you give us some time too. We do have a TeamSpeak 3 as well, but it’s use is on a purely optional basis. Most of our chatter is on the guild channel.

Hiya Aruzo, We are on Fort Aspenwood so you wouldn’t have to change servers.

I saw your post looking for a fun, casual and mature guild and I wanted to contact you about looking into our guild, The Unholy Mackerels! I think our guild would be just what you two are looking for as I feel the bullet points you mentioned in your post describe our guild to a T.

We are a PvX guild with a pride in respecting others, no matter their play style or play level. We also are tight knit and enjoy getting to know one another through activities such as Dungeons, WvW, Fractals, sPvP, or partying up in PvE to do Orr events and
Dragons, and even helping with lvling main characters and alts.

We currently run scheduled Guild Missions – 2 nights a week, WvW – 2 nights, Dungeons – 2 nights, Fractals and sPvP. We also do any of the above throughout the week off schedule. There is always something going on every day! The majority of UM’s members are on any time after 6pm EST during the weekdays and at any time during the weekends.

The Unholy Mackerels has a core group of active members and we are building upon that, however doing so slow enough so we get to know each and every one. We currently are a medium size guild with 53 members and with 20+ of us active daily, consisting of mostly NA members.

We are quite the social guild through teamspeak and guild chat. We use teamspeak but do not require it. Our newer members can listen in on the first few days and talk when they feel comfortable, however most talk within the first 10 minutes once they realize how easy going everyone is.

If you don’t mind switching servers, you can find us on the Fort Aspenwood server. New recruits on different servers are given the option to guest up to one month before making the switch. This gives you the time to save up in game or irl money while still being able to play with the guild. With the events we run, it is very easy to make the gold to transfer in a matter of a week!
