Guild Wars 2

I will put a disclaimer in the beginning of this and state that I have mostly played WoW for the entirety of my MMO life, however I have played just about every MMO that has existed for at least a few months off and on over the course of the past 10 years or so.

I am hoping to find a good, fun, friendly, active guild in GW2 that I can hang with. I am having a hard time getting immersed in the game right now, because I am very lost at times, and frankly feel completely alone in the game.

From the looks of things, I cannot have multiple characters on multiple servers so I don’t know if that means I need to delete my characters, or use the transfer thing. Right now I am trying to find a class I enjoy. There aren’t enough slots to try each class, however. So it’s taking some trial and error.

Anyways, if your guild isn’t a part of that I’m here for a month then going back to WoW/SWTOR crowd. Please let me know what it would take to see if I would fit into your community.

Hello TheFatness I am leader of Syndicus [SYN] and our guild is based in Underworld EU. This guild is pretty new and it was started by me and couple of friends who played MMOs with me. Invictus on the Maguuma server is now recruiting active players. We are a guild composed of like minded adults that come from many other mmo backgrounds. We have weekly events planned like spvp and explore mode runs. We have our own vent server that is used on a regular basis. Most members are lvl 40+ with a hand full of 80’s. We are all adults that know that real life comes first. We also know that when your in a game you want to feel at home in a guild and enjoy knowing you represent that guild. Our members are all seasoned players that raided in other mmos so dungeon runs are enjoyable. We have strong pvpers also and once a week we like to get together and go do some spvp sometimes just take a whole server and fight each other for fun. Once a month we have a planned guild event that a prize is awarded. The use of our website is where you can keep track of events. Hello, I read your post on the forums regarding looking for a guild and I thought our guild might be a fit for you.

We are located on Anvil Rock server.

Our members are active but take a laid back approach to the game but get things done regularly and we are looking for like minded players. We are a PvX guild so we often run both story and explore mode dungeons, participate in WvWvW and do world events.

We have completed many dungeon runs in the guild without having to bring specific professions or roles and enjoy figuring out how to complete something with what we have over forcing ourselves to play differently to have success therefor we welcome all classes and play styles to the guild.

We use Ventrilo for voice communication but it is not a requirement that you use it, although even to pop in and listen while doing a dungeon or WvWvW is helpful.

We have an application form on our website but if you check it out it is more of a let you know what we are about and who you are kind of thing vs. anything formal. We are trying to attract the right kind of people and this helps.

DEA on Yak’s Bend is a very active, casual guild that was made for players who enjoy grouping up and playing the game with other people a majority of the time.

We have over 200 members and a lot of them are friends and family. Guild events are at least once a week in which we get in groups and do entire zones, but none are mandatory.

We are mainly PVE, but there are some who pvp and we have members of all levels.

Wanted to share some information on our guild. We’re located on Isle of Janthir, our guild name is Valor [RUN]

We are currently recruiting players who wish to excel and improve in both PvE/Dungeon content, as well as the competitive aspects of WvW and sPvP.

We are a smaller more close-knit guild, and the majority of our members are adults, but we do have younger members as well. We do like to have fun and goof off, and most of all, enjoy the game and each other’s company. We like to keep drama to a minimum, but we hardly see it in such a close-knit community.

Currently sitting at 40 members total, and we’re about 10-15 active during weeknights (hey, we’re all adults and we all have day jobs), and usually 20+ during the weekends, where we spend most of our time doing WvW and Dungeon content. We are not a “zerg” guild and will not accept you without either an application or conversation beforehand, we don’t just blind invite anyone into the guild, nor will we retain all members who don’t meet our simple standards: good people, good players. We want to ensure that you’re a good fit for us, but most importantly, we’re a good fit for what you’re looking for. In the end, it’s a win-win for both parties.

We’re primarily a North American guild, I’d say 90% or more in the PST to EST timezone range. We do have a website, and a dedicated 50 slot Ventrilo server. We do have some additional information listed on the website, but it is still a work in progress.
