Guild Wars 2

I’m an experienced gamer who’s been playing MMO’s since about a month after the launch of WoW. I’ve played everything from WoW, CoH, LOTRO, SWTOR, Secret World, and now GW2 since the second day of prerelease.

I transferred to this server a few days ago, and I’m looking for a mature, casual, and family friendly guild. I have two brothers who play, and all of us have a couple of RL friends who play as well… most currently in a very small guild. If I find a good guild to join, my goal would be to try to bring them over to the guild as well.

I’m married and a grad student, and school and my family will always come first. Most of the time though, I am on for at least a couple hours most nights starting around 8 or 9 PM PST… as well as other times throughout the week as my schedule around. In each of the games I’ve played, I’ve found a good guild to get to know and participate in, and have been an officer in a number of these.

My preference would be a mid sized guild… maybe 50 players up to 150 or so on the high end. I like a guild large enough that there is generally someone on regardless of the time you log on, but not so many people that you get lost and have a hard time getting to know people.

Anyone have a guild that sounds like a good fit?

I would like to invite you to check out Cynical on Crystal Desert Server. I understand you just transferred, and you may be reluctant to transfer again, but we definitely meet the requirements you have listed.

Cynical is a mid sized guild, currently at approx 80 members, with intentions of staying around 120 members or so at max capacity. We have players from all over the U.S. and Canada, and definitely have members playing after 8pm PST and later.

We are a caual family guild, and we understand real life comes first before the game. We provide our members with regularly scheduled PVE and PVP events, full Guild perks, 2 different forms of Voice chat, forums and website, and a fun and friendly community!

Hello avguitarplayer! My guild HHH sounds like it is almost a perfect fit you. I say “almost” because currently my guild is on the smaller side (35+ members with 3-8 people logging in at the same time in the evenings), but we are growing at a steady pace so I expect that to increase very soon. We are a very social friends and family guild. Most of us have full time jobs, husbands/wives, kids, etc.

Heroic Heroes of Heroism was founded by several friends who have known each other, and have gamed together for well over 10 years. As adults, at this point in our lives many of us have full time jobs, significant others, and / or children of our own. While our personal lives and entanglements may take up much of our time and attention, there still remains at least one constant: we love to game together and interact with like minded people!

We wanted to create a Guild Wars 2 guild where all kinds of great and friendly players could pool together to enhance their gaming experience, regardless of whether your schedule is busy or flexible. A place where all players involved felt like they were a part of a meaningful community of great people. Above all else, we just want to PLAY and have a great time doing it! We do not have any mandatory events which require you to commit regular play time, but we highly encourage our members to organize optional nights and activities as long as your fellow players in the guild are kept in mind.
