What I’m Looking For:
I’m looking for an active, mature, PvE guild, if your guild does everything(PvX) that’s fine. Size doesn’t really matter, being a small guild with very active members is as good as being a larger guild. I’d like to stress the mature part, stupid and/or random(as in having strange content) conversations, trolling, and the like are a massive negative for me. I’m not going to be picky about this but being an established guild(a rather vague term but I’ll leave it up to interpretation) is a plus.

About Me
I’m a fairly new player, however I am not new to MMOs. I played GW for 1 & 1/2 years, and Rift for about 5-6 months. As I said in the title I play a necromancer, I tend to play a minimum amount of characters(2 maybe 3 at the most) and prefer to specialize rather than have my hands in everything. I’m an almost exclusive PvE player, I abhor PvP(in MMOs) although I do intend to try WvW at some point. As far as personal qualities I would describe myself as intelligent, mature, albeit quiet person. I am active and tend to be on mostly at nights during the week and sporadically throughout the weekend, I’m in EST. One last quality I think would be of interest to a potential guild is that I am committed. If your guild is what I’m looking for I will contribute to the best of my ability(since I am new I will be somewhat seclusive at first until I an confident in my knowledge of the game, but I will help when I can).

A reply does not need to be lengthy. I would like to know things like activity level(on average how many players are on at any given time), a rough guild size, how long you’ve been around, things that your guild does, and any other information you think is relevant.

On a final note I currently play in Devona’s Rest as indicated in the title. I am willing to transfer servers, however if you’d ask me to do this I expect a reply as detailed as my post(I will not transfer on a whim).

Hi there. We are small, mostly adult members and all of us love PvE. As we are small we don’t have regular event times, we just help each other out, group up for events and are starting to try out different dungeons. We have active members, maybe only a few on at a time, but we are committed. We are mainly oceanic time zones though, we have one other player who has just joined from the US, he is understanding of the timezones and of course we are always looking for new members from all over the world, we don’t want to limit ourselves to just oceanic playing times.

We are on Emhry Bay server, some of our members are from different servers, even a couple have moved over to our server to be with us but we wouldn’t expect or ask people to transfer, it is an individual’s choice and it is easy enough to group up using the guesting option.

We are on Sanctum of Rall server and we are very active and friendly semi-hard core guild that focus mostly on WvW and PvE, so yes we are a PVX guild and we tend to play a lot of WvW, but we do dungeon runs as well. Vengeance has been established since 2006.

Guild activity is about 20-30 ish active everyday. Weekends can very as well.

We also have the required Trees/Ranks to unlock more Guild Missions. Currently running Guild Bounties atm.

You have an interesting lead post, and I like the fact that you are both very commanding of what you expect, but also malleable enough to not be averse to transferring servers. Color me interested, haha.

Anyway, despite the fact that my guild, [VZ]‘s server, SBI, is just getting out of combat with DR in WvW, I think you’d be a good fit. In case you’re not interested in my post, or want a tl;dr, the link to [VZ] recruitment post is in my signature. Either way, I’ll cover it here as well. We are a 45-55 member guild with a tight-knit regularly active group that’s on every day during primetime NA (7PM – 1AM EST), but also active during other hours to a lesser extent. I work a full time job, so that’s mostly why I can’t personally be on much else during the day. That said, we are three days away from guild missions (and counting!), and we have multiple skilled and mature players in the guild capable of all sorts of end-game content. I am personally level 49 in FotM, and we have a level 64 in the guild, and we run L40 tier for fractal skins whenever there’s interest. As you might surmise from my signature, I am an active and known commander on the SBI server, so if you ever wanted to give WvW a try, you’d be more than welcome to follow me any time. If you wanted to join the guild but not transfer right away, that’d be fine and you could do all of the PvE content no problem, you just couldn’t run with us in WvW. That’d be up to you to decide if you wanted to do or not. We also run around and do other stuff frequently, such as achievement hunt, world bosses, and the like. If you’re low level, that’s no problem, and we’d be happy to help you acclimate to the game as you level up and gear up for end-game content. You could also take advantage of our guild benefits to help you do so.

Anyway, you made a big point about wanting a mature guild. I can say with certainty that we are a mature guild, though we do joke around and tease each other sarcastically, and I can’t type with perfect punctuation all of the time if I’m running around WvW or the like. That said, if that sounds good to you, then I think it’d be a good fit.

I saw your post looking for a friendly, casual, active and mature guild and I wanted to contact you about looking into our guild, The Unholy Mackerels! We have been around since beta, we moved from Isle of Janthir originally due to the Server breaking down, we had to move. We will have Guild Missions in about 7 days, while we will let you guest over, if you want to join the Guild to try it out, before server transfer.

We are a PvX guild with a pride in respecting others, no matter their play style or play level. We also are tight knit and enjoy getting to know one another through activities such as Dungeons, WvW, Fractals, sPvP, or partying up in PvE to do Orr events together, dragons, and even helping with lvling main characters and alts.

We currently run weekly scheduled WvW, Dungeons, and Fractals and do any of the above throughout the week off schedule. There is always something going on daily, usually any time after 6pm EST during the weekdays and any time during the weekends.

The Unholy Mackerels has a core group of active members and we are building upon that, however doing so slowly so we get to know each and every one. We currently are a medium size guild with 43 members and about 20 of them are active daily, consisting of mostly NA members and a few AUS.

We are quite the social guild through teamspeak and guild chat. We use teamspeak but do not require it. Often our newer members prefer to listen in on the first few days and talk when they feel comfortable, which usually they talk within the first 10 minutes once they realize how easy going everyone is.

You can find us on the Fort Aspenwood server. A server that has quite a busy PvE population in maps, it’s own friendly community forums for all things GW2, it’s own community teamspeak for WvW where everyone is welcome, and a server that enjoys working together through good communication while playing to have fun.

Being a growing gaming community, we also play many other games together as a guild and recently started a new weekly event, TF2sdays. Have no fear though as Guild Wars 2 has been our focus since beta and will continue to be for quite some time.
