Guild Wars 2

Hey all forgive me if there are some typos and the lack of info as I am typing on my iPad atm.

I am a veteran MMO player from playing in top US raiding guilds in WoW to playing every other MMO under the sun.

I bought GW2 at release and I just picked it up about 1-2 weeks ago and have uninstalled WoW for this new innovative MMO.

I am not interested in amounts of progression or experience but I am simply looking for a small gaming family to join up with.

I am NOT looking for a Zerg guild filled with 60+ players. I enjoy having a smaller guild setting to build new friendships while engaging in my gaming experience.

I am new to GW2 but I have led and held many leadership positions within other MMOs and can help n anyway needed.

Totally hitting you up here. Let me introduce myself:
I am the WvW/Recruit officer of Dynasty Warriors, an old gaming clan started in 2003, teamed in GW1 and moved on to GW2 with a core of 40 people who’d stayed in touch over the years. I’m very dedicated to the game, my guild and the server we play on (Far Shiverpeaks). I joined DW in Nov 2005, and have stuck around since . Even if I disappeared into heavy raiding in WoW for a few years myself.

Why I think you’d make it home with DW even if we’re not a super small guild:
We are social, casual and dedicated. Yes a weird combo maybe. The guild is Casual PvX with active WvW team. We help each other as much as we can and you can always ask a question in the gchat and get an answer.

When it comes to WvW we’re going back to basics a lot and always have a strike-team on the side of our bigger groups and we’re going to start working on more strategies and tactics where we split..

With 140 members we have about 60-70 active / day (dunno yet, because of some new recruits). It means there’s always someone online. We’re an international guild which means we have players online all hours of the day with members from EU, NA and AU.

We are looking for players who can help us arrange events of different kinds, and lead a bit more in WvW.

Created in 2005 from Guild Wars. Proud of it and now in Guild Wars 2
We invite you to visit our guild and talk with us either in game or vent. We ask that we give a couple weeks and since you can be in more than one guild to test them out. What would it hurt? We are mainly 18+, work and/or university and/or have families to take care of. We are mainly American time zones, but have a few Euros that came with us from Guild Wars. We log on to have fun and relax. Don’t want to make the game a job, we all want to let down our hair and enjoys each other company. We are slowly rebuilding the guild at this time. We are looking for people, willing to help us grow. We are friendly and will do what we can or when we can.
We do have vent and a forum. We have a mixture of people that do Pve and Pvp, dungeons, and Wvw. We are in Tarnish Coast and prefer you be in this server, will take from others, but you will miss the perks of guild. We are also looking for new officers. No promises will have to talk. I have read your post and wanted to reply and offer you a spot in our small cozy laid back guild, if you dont mind to change servers.
We have members from Europe, the US, and other parts of the world.

We have 57 members atm, and we are steadily growing, but we
still maintain to keep the family feeling.

We have a mature member base, I would not mind taking a few
younger members, as long as it wont be the majority of our roster.

Although we are small, we have a very active group of people
now, we play every day and mostly play together in party.

We have weekly organized WvW/PvP, Dungeon runs, and even Music Night, and our members do all those activities together with other guild members every day as well.

We use RaidCall to talk, and all actives are on there on a daily basis as well.

I’m the guild leader of Northern Kings, we are a small/medium sized guild located on Stormbluff Isle. We are a PvX guild, but we tend to have a lot of people who are into WvW (Our server has an awesome alliance), or doing dungeons. A few of us have been also grouping up for world completion.

Our guild was born in the days of guildwars 1 , with a few key members and slowly grew to a guild of 30 strong, with many guilds in alliance with us, we are mainly pve based and always try to be helpful and polite to all our members, we always try to help each other if possible!
