Guild Wars 2

Just started a new guild. I can’t see my influence points, and i don’t receive any.
Also can’t edit permissions.

Is this because i’m the only one in the guild?
Do i need at least one member in the guild to get influence?
Or is it a bug?

Your influence should be visible in the top right hand corner of the guild window. They’re received in small amounts, so it could just be that you’ve yet to earn any if you just started. Not sure if you start with some or not — can’t recall.

As for not being able to edit permissions, you could be bugged. There were some issues with the guild windows before but I’m not sure if they’re totally resolved. I’d check out the bug report forum.

Make sure you are representing :P

If at the bottom of your guild screen you should be able to see a button that says stand down. If you dont and it gives the option of “represent” then your not representing and you wont have the ability to alter anything in your guild.

Chalk it up to a bug (if you’re representing).

Our guild interface has been buggy for a few weeks. Can’t make upgrades, it’ll say I have but they won’t show in queue.
Updating guild messages is also a hit or miss type of thing.

I’m sure they’ll get it fixed soon.

Of course i am representing.
I can see my influence points now. Still some problems, bought a 100 IP drink and i am still on 6 now.
Still can’t edit permissions.

I’ve had this problem too. Most of the time when it’s bugged for me it’s in Lion’s Arch. If I go to a less populated city, most of the time everything works again.
